Hello Stampers,
I used to love the sepia type of cards that were made back when Soft Suede was a color & thought the set that I used would look wonderful trying to make a spin off of those cards, except I couldn't decide which color to use, so ended up making 2 cards. Which one do you like better?
For these cards, I chose the new Gallery Blooms Bundle, stamping the roses using the Early Espresso Ink Pad onto Crumb Cake & Pecan Pie Cardstocks, die-cut them out using the Gallery Bloom Dies & then coloring them in using Crumb Cake & Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. I also die-cut the frame with another die in the bundle using Early Espresso Cardstock. For the middle layer, I chose Crumb Cake & Pecan Pie Cardstock, then embossed them with the Damask Design Embossing Folder, before adding these layers onto the matching cardstock base. After assembling the cards, I used a sentiment from the Beautiful Motifs Stamp Set using the Early Espresso Ink Pad on the matching card's color, then used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the sentiment. Lastly, I used Pressed Flower Motifs & Neutral Matte Dots to embellish the cards.
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
