MMS051324

Hello stampers,

Today's card was made from this week's Mystery Monday Stamping tutorial & I chose to use some of the new DSP with a returning set.

I used the new Poetic Expressions DSP with Basic White, Bubble Bath & Wild Wheat Cardstocks. This might be my very 1st time using Wild Wheat Cardstock.... it is one of my least favorite In Colors I must confess cardstock wise, people say it reminds them of gold, but it just throws me off for some reason. I used the So Sincere Stamp Set with Bubble Bath Ink for the sentiment. For the stamped image, I used the Garden Meadow Stamp Set with Wild Wheat Ink, then colored it in using Bubble Bath, Wild Wheat & Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Blends Combo Packs, before die-cutting it using the Garden Meadow Dies. Both the image & sentiment were popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals & I used a few retired 23-25 In Color Dots to finish the card.

Delicate Flowers - You Make Good Things Better

Hello stampers,

Today I wanted to make something with rainbow colors to brighten the day, hopefully this works.

I started with a Basic White Cardstock layer, then used the tree like stamp in the Delicate Forest Stamp Set to add color with Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Azure Afternoon & Gorgeous Grape Ink Pads. I stamped the sentiment using Memento Black Ink then die-cut it with the word box in the Delicate Forest Dies, then adhered it to a Basic Black Cardstock piece & fussy cut it with Paper Snips to make a layer. I added a Basic Black Cardstock layer behind the focal image to a Basic White Cardstock base. I popped the sentiment up using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals & added a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels to finish the card.

Paper Measurements-

  • Basic White Cardstock:

Simply Zinnia - Happy Mother's Day

Hello stampers,

I hope all the mothers out there had a wonderful day yesterday. Today, I'm sharing the card I made my mom, which is the 1st card I've made in 5 days due to all the sensory problems I've been having since last week. I've had so much fun, enough to earn myself a few specialist referrals to see if they can figure out what is going on. The joys of getting old I guess!

I started with a piece of Basic White Cardstock, stamping the floral bunch from the Simply Zinnia Stamp Set with Memento Black Ink, then coloring the image using Petal Pink, Melon Mambo, Real Red, Daffodil Delight & Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Blends Combo Packs before die-cutting the image with the Simply Zinnia Dies. Next, I used the Deckled Rectangles Dies to die-cut a layer of Basic White Cardstock that I embossed using the retired Basics 3D Embossing Folders, then adhered the stamped image to this layer. I embossed a layer of Petal Pink Cardstock with the Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder, before adhering it to a Petal Pink Cardstock base & then adding the focal point to the card. For the sentiment, I used the retired Marigold Moments Stamp Set, using Memento Black Ink on Petal Pink Cardstock, and then used the Paper Snips to fussy cut the banner ends. Now, I wanted the sentiment to have a movement look, so I popped up the middle part with Stampin' Dimensionals & Multipurpose Liquid Glue down the ends. To finish the card, I added a few retired Elegant Faceted Gems.
