Sunrise Sailing - Happy Retirement

Hello Stampers,

Today's card was inspired by the color & theme challenge from The Card Concept. I was inspired by the beachy colors, so used a recent Online Exclusive stamp set.

I started with a Basic White Cardstock for the focal image using the Sunrise Sailing Stamp Set with Memento Black & Blueberry Bushel Ink Pads, then colored in the ship part with Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends. I used the retired Boho Blue Ink Pad with a Blending Brush to color in the water before adding this image to a layer of Blueberry Bushel Cardstock. Next, I took a piece of Boho Blue DSP from the retired 2023-2025 In Colors DSP, added it to a Pecan Pie Cardstock base, then attached the focal image. I used a sentiment from the set using the Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad then cut both sides at an angle which just happened to be the width of the DSP. Lastly, I added a few retired Solid Gems to finish the card.

Celebratory Sips - Cheers!

Hello Stampers,
Today's card uses a recent Online Exclusvie stamp set. I didn't originally set out to make this particular card I had a whole different set I was thinking about, then changed my mind. My brain was coming up with another idea & this is what I ended up with. LOL!

I started this card by die-cutting the 2 glass dies from the Cheers & Sips Dies from a Cloud Cover Cardstock base, along with 2 drinks from the Celebratory Sips DSP. Next, I used the Elements of Text Stamp Set to add a few splotches onto the base using the Stampin' Write 2025-2027 In Color Markers since I haven't gotten the Cloud Cover Ink Refill to make my mini ink pad. I then pulled out the Mini Alphabet Dies to create a a cheers banner! I wrapped around the card & the smallest glass with the White 1/4" Ribbon & tied it into a knot, before finishing the card with a few Purple Sequins in the white color

Perennial Postage - Thank You

Hello Stampers,
Oh my it's been a busy week- late nights & early mornings make for a very grumpy ME! I came across this reel that made a card using what she calls the Fault Line Technique, so I decided to make a card using this. It's also a great way to showcase some of our favorite DSP.

I started this card using the Mixed Media DSP & gluing it to a Calypso Coral Cardstock base. I used the Perennial Postage Stamp Set to stamp one of the sentiment onto Basic White Cardstock using the Calypso Coral Ink Pad. I lined the Basic White & Granny Apple Green Cardstocks then tore them in half so they would have the same torn marks on each piece, then glued the Basic White Cardstock pieces to the Granny Apple Green Cardstock a little above the torn parts so you saw both pieces. Once I had the 2 pieces together I was able to add them to the card leaving a small border all around the card. I finished the card by adding a few Brushed Brass Butterflies. It's a rather quick card to make or even multiple cards.

Everyday Arch Dies Make Happy Birthday Rainbow

Hello Stampers,
Today's card was inspired by a card I saw on FB yesterday & I was like "oh I can make something similar with Stampin' Up! products!"

I started die-cutting with the Everyday Arch Dies using Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Shaded Spruce, Azure Afternoon & Gorgeous Grape Cardstocks, then layering each piece on top of each other. I used the Unbounded Love Stamp Set to stamp the sentiment onto the Gorgeous Grape die-cut piece with the Memento Black Ink Pad. Next, I used the retired Cloud Punch to add a couple clouds using Basic White Cardstock under the rainbow. I used a Basic White Cardstock base, followed by a layer of Everyday Skies DSP, before attaching the die cut using Multipurpose Liquid Glue & Stampin' Dimensionals.

May 2025 Paper Pumpkin - Mountain Majesties

Hello Stampers,
I did an oopsie last month because I didn't read everything before I did it & ended up with 2 Paper Pumpkins this month, which was ok since I don't have a lot of masculine type of sets. So, I made the 3 cards like the kit instructions, although as you know if it is double sided I tend to cut the cards apart to make even more cards. I'm sharing the card I made as an alternative using a recent sketch from Jackie Bolhuis & a new set.

I started my alternative card with a Basic White Cardstock base, then placed 2 strips from one of the backsides of a card in the kit. Next, I used the Scenic Adventure Stamp Set, an Online Exclusive, to stamp some trees onto Basic White Cardstock using the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad & the sentiment from the kit, this was then backed by a layer of Misty Moonlight Cardstock. I added a few of the retired Tinsel Gems 3 pack to finish the card.

These cards are made exactly like the kit suggests, except that I put the front layer of the card onto a Basic White Cardstock base.

Pretty Florals - I'm Here For You Always

Hello Stampers,
Today's card was inspired by a sketch from Jackie Bolhuis. I've realized I don't use a lot of Blackberry Bliss any longer & thought I would use it for the card I had planned but changed.

I started with a Blackberry Bliss Cardstock base, then used the Paper Trimmer to score 1/4" on all 4 sides. Next, I used a retired DSP called Blooming Impressions to make the banner layer, fussy cutting the end of the banner, which I then had added a Petunia Pop Cardstock square. I used a sentiment from the Beautiful Motifs Stamp Set, stamping it with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad onto a Basic White Cardstock that had been punched out using the 2 3/8" Circle Punch. I stamped one of the floral stamps from the Pretty Florals Bundle using the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad again this time on Petunia Pop Cardstock, then die-cut using the Pretty Florals Dies, along with the stem using Old Olive Cardstock. Lastly, I added a few 2024-2026 Shimmer Gems.

Gallery Blooms - Thinking Of You

Hello Stampers,
I used to love the sepia type of cards that were made back when Soft Suede was a color & thought the set that I used would look wonderful trying to make a spin off of those cards, except I couldn't decide which color to use, so ended up making 2 cards. Which one do you like better?

For these cards, I chose the new Gallery Blooms Bundle, stamping the roses using the Early Espresso Ink Pad onto Crumb Cake & Pecan Pie Cardstocks, die-cut them out using the Gallery Bloom Dies & then coloring them in using Crumb Cake & Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. I also die-cut the frame with another die in the bundle using Early Espresso Cardstock. For the middle layer, I chose Crumb Cake & Pecan Pie Cardstock, then embossed them with the Damask Design Embossing Folder, before adding these layers onto the matching cardstock base. After assembling the cards, I used a sentiment from the Beautiful Motifs Stamp Set using the Early Espresso Ink Pad on the matching card's color, then used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the sentiment. Lastly, I used Pressed Flower Motifs & Neutral Matte Dots to embellish the cards.
