Serene Silhouettes Challenge

Hello Stampers!      I hope you are having a wonderful start to your weekend. Friday we went out on a drive & took pictures of the local flooding we had here in NW Houston on Thursday. I can't believe how much flooding 8 hours of constant rain, sometimes rather hard can do to an area that as I found out from the news had already received 12" of rain since Saturday & hear I thought we hadn't gotten much rain at all this week. I guess that is what happens when you stay indoors for the most part. Luckily, I see no immediate flooding in our subdivision & I hope it stays that way since we have anywhere from 30% to 60% chance of rain until next Friday. So I thought I would share a photo of a local golf course just up the road from me & show you what we got. Just so you know this is actually where 1 of the holes is along with a water trap & 2 sand traps.

I know it's bad right? The rain didn't do this by itself it had help by the little creek that runs through the golf course which I am now referring to as a river & also a man-made lake that surrounds the subdivision & both are in overflowing stages.      Ok, onto better & brighter things! As I have said is a few posts I have had a really hard time stamping, I just can't seem to get into it. So I decided to go through the catalog & find a card I like & use it as a sketch. Yes, I know there are 100's of sketch blogs out there, however, the procrastinator I am would be on those ALL day instead of getting a card made. The 2nd part of the challenge I picked a color from the color coach & chose 1 of the 2 combinations it had on the back. The color I chose was Gumball Green, 1 of the new in-colors.
