Elegant Leaves - Triple Step Technique

Hello Stampers,
Today is the final day of showcasing the Eternal Leaves Stamp Set & this card was made for this week's Crafty Collaborations for Pretty Peacock on Instagram.

I chose to make the card with the Triple Time technique, which is stamping on 3 layers at once, then adding layers in between to cover the border areas that really don't get ink. I used the Elegant Leaves Stamp Set to stamp one of the leaves outline all over the card & added the sentiment to the top layer using Basic White Cardstock with Pretty Peacock Ink. The layers & base of the card use Pretty Peacock Cardstock. Lastly, I used Array Of Dots (Pretty Peacock) to finish the card. To see what other demos made for this hop, please go to my Instagram link & click on the card to see a list of participants.

Beautiful Gallery - Thinking Of You

Hello Stampers,
Sorry, I didn't get a chance to share this card with you yesterday, I was doing everything I could to stay cool & never made it back into my craft room. It's been pretty miserable & I feel so bad for my feral colony, but I'm doing my best to keep them cool.

I'm sharing the Shadow Blocking technique today, I've heard it is a quilting term, but don't knock me if it's not true because I will be seen nowhere near a sewing machine. LOL! I started the card using a Basic Beige Cardstock layer, cutting a piece of Beautiful Gallery DSP into 12 squares, along with a piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock. I attached all the DSP pieces to the cardstock, lining them up on the layer until I liked the layout, then glued them down & attached the layer to a Mossy Meadow Cardstock base. Next, I took a small piece of Basic Beige Cardstock & used the now retired Beautiful Motifs Stamp Set to stamp a sentiment with Mossy Meadow Ink, then used the 3 Banner Punch to punch it out, cutting the end off one side & popping it up using Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I added a few retired Solid Faceted Gems (Mossy Meadow) to finish the card.

Beautiful Gallery - Thank You

Hello Stampers,
Today's card was made for this week's The Paper Players sketch challenge that I also used the Double Vision technique on.

For this card, I chose to use Basic White, Secret Sea & Cloud Cover Cardstocks, with the Beautiful Gallery DSP. The background layer of Secret Sea & Cloud Cover Cardstocks was embossed using the retired Paint Texture 3D Embossing Folder, then attached to the Basic White Cardstock base. I used the floral sheet from the Beautiful Gallery DSP & like the card the other day used the remaining pieces of the Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up every other piece which was layered onto Basic White Cardstock. I chose a sentiment from the Lovely Arrangements Stamp Set, stamping with Secret Sea Ink onto Basic White Cardstock then fussy cut the banner end. Lastly, I used a few Moody Pallette Dots in Cloud Cover to finish the card.

Beautiful Gallery - Happy Birthday

Hello Stampers,
I've been seeing these cards around so I thought I would try it, they are called Double Vision or Eclipse Cards. I've made several Eclipse cards using the letter dies but not like this.

I chose to use a scenic DSP called Beautiful Gallery, but I have seen it with some other DSP that has 2 pages the same. I cut the DSP down to 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 to have a cardstock border behind the DSP. One of the pages I cut into 1/2" pieces, then used Stampin' Dimensionals (the leftover part when all the pieces are used up) or you can also use the Foam Adhesive Strips, then attached to a Lost Lagoon Cardstock base. I used the upcoming Rounded Rectangle to punch out a piece from Lost Lagoon Cardstock, then stamped it using the upcoming Scalloped Blooms Stamp Set with Memento Black Ink. I attached this to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals & Multipurpose Glue

SWEET OLD FRIENDS - T-I-DOUBLE GUH-ER

Hello Stampers,
Today is all about my favorite character & giving you a sneak peek to a new stamp set coming in May! I started going one way & then bounced my way in a different direction to end up making a shorter but longer slimline card, that will probably end up somewhere in my craft room. LOL!

To make my card I started with a piece of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, then used the Sweet Old Friends Stamp Set to stamp Tigger all over the layer, then die-cut his name using Party Alphabet Dies. The background was then added to a Basic Black Cardstock base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I attached each letter using Stampin' Dimensionals back in the spot they were die-cut from which creates an eclipse look which is also what the technique is called.

I hope you have a lot of bounce in your step today!

Autumn Trees - Grateful For You

Hello Stampers,
I think I went a little overboard with this card. I started it to use 1 of my favorite & simple techniques called "thumping", but with the vast space it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped so I mixed in some blending.

I stamped the tree from the Autumn Trees Stamp Set onto Very Vanilla Cardstock using Crushed Curry Ink for the leaves of the tree then used Blackberry Bliss, Garden Green & Cajun Craze Stampin Write Markers & with the brush end added the colors in a thumping fashion. Remember if you use this technique you may have to *huff* to refresh the ink. I wasn't thrilled with this look as much as I had hoped, so I took a Very Vanilla Cardstock scrap piece & with my Blending Brushes added Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Cajun Craze & Blackberry Bliss Ink to the cardstock, before die-cutting the canopy part of the tree from the Autumn Trees Dies, I remembered to add an Adhesive Sheet to the back which made it way more simpler to add it to the tree. Next, I again blended those colors above onto a larger layer of Very Vanilla Cardstock then used the Amber Autumn leaf die for a background which I then attached to a layer of Pecan Pie Cardstock before attaching it to a Very Vanilla Cardstock base. I also used a sentiment from the Amber Autumn Stamp Set, which I then die-cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Lastly, I added a few Polished Dots to finish the card.
