MMS071425 - I'm So Glad We're Friends

Hello Stampers,
I'm playing catch up on some of the Mystery Monday Stamping tutorials today. I chose to use the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite which has been on my list since the catalog came out & it took me 3 tries to finally get it. I spent 6 years in Okinawa, so this suite really stood out to me & it's just beautiful.

I started this card by cutting out all the measurements in Clue #1 which included Basic White & Misty Moonlight Cardstocks, along with the Kintsugi Inspirations DSP. I ended up using some retired Gold Ribbon because I didn't have really anything current to go with this card. I used a sentiment from the Mixed Labels Stamp Set stamping it on Basic White Cardstock with Misty Moonlight Ink. Next, I used the Inspiring Imperfections Stamp Set, stamping the vase directly onto the focal image & then used an extra piece to stamp the cup both with Misty Moonlight Ink, then using the Inspiring Imperfection Dies to cut out the cup & using Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up. Lastly, I used a few Flower Accents to finish the card.

MMS061625 - Thankful Garden

Hello Stampers,
I hope your week is off to a good start, mine was a little bumpy since I had to go in for a crown & the nitrous didn't work, luckily it was a smaller tooth & didn't take too long but I did leave my indent markings on the chair. LOL! Today's card was inspired by this week's Mystery Monday Stamping tutorial by Sharon Armstrong.

I started with a Basic White Cardstock base, followed by a Basic Black Cardstock layer & another Basic White Cardstock layer before adding the Basic Black Cardstock stripes. The last stripe I added a sentiment from the Throughout The Year Stamp Set, embossing it with VersaMark & the white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powder trio. Next, I took a blank piece of Basic White Cardstock & stamped one of the florals from the Thankful Garden Stamp Set using Memento Black Ink, then coloring it in using Petunia Pop & Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Blends Combo Packs, die cut it with the Thankful Garden Dies & used Stampin' Dimensionals before adding it to the card. Lastly, I used the retired 2024-26 Shimmer Gems to finish the card.

Wonderful Thoughts Quilt Card

Hello stampers,

It's been a while since I made a quilt card, my grandmother was a quilter, so I like that I can use these quilt patterns in my cardmaking. Today's card was inspired by an old tutorial from Julie Heitz aka the Chirpy Quiltmaker of Quilts

For this card, I chose to use Old Olive & Basic White Cardstocks, along with the Serene Love DSP. For the sentiment, I used the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set to stamp one of the sentiments using the Old Olive Ink Pad, then die-cut it using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I used the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to add texture not only to the quilted part but the Old Olive layer behind it. Lastly, I added a few Ombre Dots to finish the card.

MMS021725 - You Make A Difference

Hello stampers,

Today's card was inspired by this week's Mystery Monday Stamping tutorial using a new set coming next month under the Online Exlusives.

I don't use a lot of Fresh Freesia, but I remember the beautiful lavender colored hydrangeas we had in New York & this was the closest color that made me think of them. I used the soon to be released Thankful Garden Bundle, stamped the flower using Memento Black Ink, then colored it using the Fresh Freesia & Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. I used Fresh Freesia & Basic White Cardstock to make the card & Fresh Freesia Ink to stamp a sentiment from the set. Lastly, I added a few Starburst Sequins that will also be released in March to finish the card.

MMS021025 - Thank You So Much

Hello stampers,

I hope y'all have had a good start to February! I took a little break from stamping last week to catch up on a few things that I got behind on when I took a small vacation. Today's card comes from this week's Mystery Monday Stamping tutorial by Sharon Armstrong.

For today's card, I used the retiring Serene Love DSP with Night Of Navy & Basic White Cardstocks. For the sentiment, I used the Layering Leaves Stamp Set to stamp with the Night Of  Navy Ink Pad onto Basic White Cardstock. An easy peasy monochromatic card!
