Saying Goodbye to Artistically Inked

Hello stampers,

It's been a hot minute since I've used this set, but I love it with these bright colors. I've used 3 retiring products on this card.

I started with a Basic White Cardstock base then used the retiring Artistically Inked Stamp Set to stamp the flowers on the right side of the card using Berry Burst Ink, stamped off once. I then stamped on a scrap piece of cardstock the 3 flowers & 2 leaves using Berry Burst & Pretty Peacock Inks, then die-cut them using the retiring Artistic Dies. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the 2 upper layers of the flower. Next, I embossed a strip of Berry Burst Cardstock using the retiring Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (I'm going to miss this folder!), then added a small strip of Pretty Peacock Cardstock to the back for an extra edge before attaching it to the card base. I attached the flower & leaves to the base of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. For the sentiment, I used Pretty Peacock Ink then used a retired Circle Punch before adding it to the card.

Paper Measurements-

  • Basic White Cardstock:

    • Layer - 4 x 5 1/2

Best Wishes With Nature's Prints

Hello stampers,

Today's card is for a color challenge by The Paper Players using Lost Lagoon, Lemon Lolly & one neutral. I thought this combo would be a bit difficult but once I decided what to do with them it came together rather quickly. I really like these colors together!

I started the card with a Lost Lagoon Cardstock layer which I dry embossed with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. I then stamped with the Nature's Prints Stamp Set using Lost Lagoon Ink on Basic White Cardstock, then took this piece along with a piece of Lemon Lolly Cardstock & did all my die-cutting using the Natural Prints Dies. I situated all the pieces on the Lost Lagoon Cardstock then used the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere everything, except for the sentiment which was popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals. This focal point was then added to a layer of Basic White Cardstock & a Lemon Lolly Cardstock base. I added a few Lemon Lolly Solid Gems to finish the card.

Paper Measurements-

  • Lemon Lolly Cardstock:
    • Base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
    • Layer - 3 3/4 x 5
  • Basic White Cardstock:

    • Layer - 3 3/4 x 4 1/2

Beautiful Balloons Celebrate

Hello stampers,
I thought I'd work on another card using the Beautiful Balloons Bundle, by the time I was done with it I thought to myself that this could work for several graduations that have happened or upcoming. Just switch the colors to school colors & VOILA!
I started this card with the Basic White Cardstock layer using the streamer stamp from the Beautiful Balloons Stamp Set with Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath & Fresh Freesia Stamp Pads. I also used these same colors for the balloons then die-cut with the Beautiful Balloons Dies before adding sentiments from the set with the Smoky Slate Ink Pad. I attached a few strands of the white twine in the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack to the balloons with Mini Glue Dots, put them into place using Multipurpose Glue for the smaller balloons & Stampin' Dimensionals for the large balloon. I pulled all 3 twine pieces together & used a Mini Glue Dot to attach to the card & another to attach the bow on top. This layer was attached to a Lemon Lolly Cardstock layer & then to a Smoky Slate Cardstock base. Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to bring a little bling to the card.

Paper Measurements-
  • Smoky Slate Cardstock:
    • Base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
  • Lemon Lolly Cardstock:
    • Layer - 4 x 5 1/4
  • Basic White Cardstock:
    • Layer - 3 3/4 x 5
    • Layer - 4 x 5 1/4

Nature's Harvest - Good Luck

Hello stampers,
So I'm trying really hard to like the new Wild Wheat In Color, hopefully with seeing others use it more it could grow on me, but I can say that I do like it with Copper Clay. So with those two colors I came up with today's card.
I started with Basic White Cardstock & stamped the coneflowers from Nature's Harvest Stamp Set using the Memento Black Ink Pad, then coloring the flowers in with Wild Wheat, Copper Clay & Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. I stamped one of the sentiments in the set with the Copper Clay Ink Pad, this was then adhered to a layer of Copper Clay Cardstock. For the Wild Wheat Cardstock layer, I embossed it using one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders before adhering it to a Copper Clay Cardstock base. The stamped image layers were then attached using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Paper Measurements-
  • Copper Clay Cardstock:
    • Base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
    • Layer - 3 x 5 1/4
  • Wild Wheat Cardstock:
    • Layer - 4 x 5 1/4
  • Basic White Cardstock:
    • Layer - 2 3/4 x 5 1/1\4
