Cutest Crew - Just A Little Hello

Hello Stampers,
Today's card was made for a Creativate Summer pre-challenge using the Cutest Crew Stamp Set.

I started off with both a layer & base of Basic White Cardstock. On the layer, I added a few 1/4" stripes of Lemon Lolly, Barely Blush & Balmy Blue Cardstock, added the bird stamp just above the stripes with Smoky Slate Ink before coloring them in using Lemon Lolly, Barely Blush, Balmy Blue, Pumpkin Pie & Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. For the sentiment, I again used Basic White Cardstock & Smoky Slate Ink to add one of the set sentiments & to add the little bird tracks, layered this onto Lemon Lolly Cardstock & popped it up using Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I added a few Array Of Dots (Lemon Lolly) to finish the card.

Wild Bunch - Wishing You Good Things

Hello Stampers,
I made today's card for the newest sketch challenge from The Paper Players #PP792.

I started the card with a Smoky Slate Cardstock base, then added a layer of Beautiful Gallery DSP & a strip of Basic Gray Cardstock. For the focal image, I used the koala from the retired POTM Wild Bunch Stamp Set stamping it onto Basic White Cardstock with Basic Gray Ink, then coloring it in with Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends Combo Pack. For the sentiment, I used the Banner Saying Bundle to stamp onto Smoky Slate Cardstock with Basic Gray Ink & punching it out with the punch. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up both the focal image & the sentiment. Lastly, I added a few retired Classic Matte Dots (Basic Gray) to finish the card.

Wild Bunch - Hi Friend

Hello Stampers,
Happy Tuesday everyone! Today's card features the new Product of the Month stamp set, that I think is totally adorable. I don't know why but I had to use the bull/cow stamp first cuz it reminded me of some of the cutest videos I have seen on FB of the Highland cows.

I started with stamping the cow from the Wild Bunch Stamp Set first with retired Memento Black Ink onto Basic White Cardstock, then coloring it in using Pecan Pie & Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Combo Packs, befnore adding this to a layer of Pecan Pie Cardstock. Then my brain just went totally blank of where to go next, so I found a Jackie Bolhuis sketch template & continued on my way. I took a strip of Basic White Cardstock then used the checkered pattern stamp & stamped it across the whole strip using Pecan Pie Ink. I couldn't decide on what to do with the background layer, so I ended up using a Blending Brush & Pecan Pie Ink to add some color around the edges of the Pecan Pie Cardstock layer. Once I had this all done, I attached it to a Basic White Cardstock base, added the checkered strip & added a sentiment from the set using Pecan Pie Ink. I added the focal image to the card using Stampin' Mini Dimensionals & added a few Neutral Matte Dots (Pecan Pie) to finish the card.

Silly Safari - Happy Birthday

Hello Stampers,
Last week was a bit hectic for me & I didn't really get spend any time in my craft room, which was probably for the best since my brain just didn't seem to want to cooperate the one time I tried. Today's card uses a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches & I thought I'd give some ink time to a bundle that I think I've only used a couple of times.

I started this card with a Basic White Cardstock layer where I used a leaf stamp from the Silly Safari Bundle with Garden Green Ink to stamp all over it. I took a strip of Basic White Cardstock & used a sentiment from the retired December product of the month Fabulous Sayings Stamp Set with Garden Green Ink, adding the same leaf stamp to both edges & then added a small strip of Garden Green Cardstock to the bottom of the strip before adhering it to the background & a Garden Green Cardstock base. Next, I stamped 3 of the animals on a strip of Basic White Cardstock using Memento Black Ink, then used Pecan Pie, Gray Granite, Petal Pink & Medium Light Stampin' Blends to color in 2 of the animals before using the
1-7/8" Circle Punch to make them into circles. I then used the 2" Circle Punch to cut out 3 circles from a Garden Green Cardstock strip. I glued 2 of the animals directly to the background then added Stampin' Dimensionals to the monkey circle.
