Amber Autumn - Grateful For You

Hello Stampers,
For today's card, I was looking to make a masculine looking card to go with the die-cut I started days ago. Do you have a hard time with masculine type cards like I do?

I found a card template from Jackie Bolhuis that I though would be a good layout for what I wanted. I started the card by stamping the acorn stamp from the Amber Autumn Stamp Set using Memento Black Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock, coloring it with Mossy Meadow, Pecan Pie & Early Espresso Stampin' Blends Combo Packs before die-cutting it out. I started building my card with a Very Vanilla Cardstock base followed by a layer of Autumn Toile DSP. The next 2 layers were Pecan Pie Cardstock that I stamped the acorn stamp all over using Early Espresso Ink, then layered it on top of a Mossy Meadow Cardstock layer. For the circle, I used Early Espresso Cardstock with the 2 3/8" Circle Punch before embossing it with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, then layering my die-cut piece on top of that. For the sentiment, I used one from the set stamping it on Very Vanilla Cardstock with Early Espresso Ink then using Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it off the card. Finally, I finished the card using Neutral Sequins.

Trusty Tools - You Are Awesome

Hello Stampers,
I don't make a lot of masculine cards until I actually need them, but I'm happy this stamp set & dies came back in the catalog, for the main reason I was missing the dies. I swear I ordered them as a bundle but I had to reorder them & now that I have I'm sure the old ones will reappear when I least expect.

I started this card with Gray Granite Cardstock which I die-cut for the pegboard using the Trusty Tool Dies. I stamped the hammer & wrench from the Trusty Tools Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink then colored the tools in using Gray Granite & Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. I used a strip from the retired Trusty Toolbox DSP & attached it to a Poppy Parade Cardstock base then added all the additional pieces. For the sentiment, I used the one from the set stamping it with Memento Black Ink onto Basic White Cardstock, then banner cut the end before attaching it to the card. To finish the card, I added a few Metallic Gems.

Trusty Tools - You Are Appreciated

Hello Stampers,

Today's card was inspired by the new Freshly Made Sketches #692 sketch for this week. It took me a little bit of time to figure out what set I could possibly use, but when I found it I went with a masculine theme.

I started with Basic White Cardstock that I cut down to squares before using the Trusty Tools Stamp Set  to stamp a tool on each square with the Pecan Pie & Night Of Navy Ink Pads. I then took a strip of Night Of Navy Cardstock & embossed it with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder before adding it to a Pecan Pie Cardstock base. For the squares, I attached them to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals just on the left side. The sentiment was stamped using the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set with Night Of Navy Ink Pad, fussy cut both ends then attached using Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I added a few Metallic Gems in Silver.

Sunrise Sailing - Happy Retirement

Hello Stampers,

Today's card was inspired by the color & theme challenge from The Card Concept. I was inspired by the beachy colors, so used a recent Online Exclusive stamp set.

I started with a Basic White Cardstock for the focal image using the Sunrise Sailing Stamp Set with Memento Black & Blueberry Bushel Ink Pads, then colored in the ship part with Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends. I used the retired Boho Blue Ink Pad with a Blending Brush to color in the water before adding this image to a layer of Blueberry Bushel Cardstock. Next, I took a piece of Boho Blue DSP from the retired 2023-2025 In Colors DSP, added it to a Pecan Pie Cardstock base, then attached the focal image. I used a sentiment from the set using the Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad then cut both sides at an angle which just happened to be the width of the DSP. Lastly, I added a few retired Solid Gems to finish the card.
