Elegant Leaves - Thinking Of You

Hello Stampers,
Today's Elegant Leaves card uses the more of the dies than the stamp set, to make a thinking of you card.

I started this card with a layer of Pecan Pie Two-Tone Cardstock from the upcoming Autumn Fields Two-Tone Cardstock Pack or it can be bought as a 1 color pack. I then embossed it using the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder then used an old Sanding Block I still had but they will also be coming backout in the new catalog. I then attached this layer to a Basic White Cardstock base. I used the Elegant Leaves Dies to die-cut the outline & solid images from Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow & Golden Glow Cardstocks then adhered them together before figuring out how I wanted them on the card. For the sentiment, I used one of the sentiments from the Scalloped Blooms Stamp Set with Pecan Pie Ink onto Basic White Cardstock, die-cut it out using the Stylish Shape Dies & attached it the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I added a few Earthy Matte Dots (Pecan Pie) to finish the card.

Elegant Leaves - Sending Caring Thoughts

Hello Stampers,
Today's card was made for this week's Paper Craft Crew simple stamping challenge, which is to make clean, simple card with minimal layers & I hope I accomplished that. I'm giving you a sneak peek of an upcoming set in the new catalog called Elegant Leaves.

I started with a Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock base, followed by a layer of Basic Beige Cardstock where I used the Simply Scored Tool to add to add 2 score lines around all the sides. I then used the Elegant Leaves Stamp Set with Crisp Cantaloupe & Cajun Craze Ink Pads to stamp one of the leaves in the center. Both the solid & outline stamps have the stem, but I only stamped the leaf part on the Cajun Craze so that it ends at the base of the stem. Next, I used the Cajun Craze Ink Pad to stamp on a strip of Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock one of the sentiments from the set, banner cut the ends & popped it up using Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I added a Linen Thread bow & a few 2026-28 In Color Dots (Crisp Cantaloupe) to finish the card.

Beautiful Gallery - Thinking Of You

Hello Stampers,
Sorry, I didn't get a chance to share this card with you yesterday, I was doing everything I could to stay cool & never made it back into my craft room. It's been pretty miserable & I feel so bad for my feral colony, but I'm doing my best to keep them cool.

I'm sharing the Shadow Blocking technique today, I've heard it is a quilting term, but don't knock me if it's not true because I will be seen nowhere near a sewing machine. LOL! I started the card using a Basic Beige Cardstock layer, cutting a piece of Beautiful Gallery DSP into 12 squares, along with a piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock. I attached all the DSP pieces to the cardstock, lining them up on the layer until I liked the layout, then glued them down & attached the layer to a Mossy Meadow Cardstock base. Next, I took a small piece of Basic Beige Cardstock & used the now retired Beautiful Motifs Stamp Set to stamp a sentiment with Mossy Meadow Ink, then used the 3 Banner Punch to punch it out, cutting the end off one side & popping it up using Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I added a few retired Solid Faceted Gems (Mossy Meadow) to finish the card.

Quilt Card - Thinking Of You

Hello Stampers,
It's been a while since I've made a quilt card! I found this cards with directions on Pinterest from Doris Fryman.

For this card, I chose to use the incoming In Colors- Barely Blush, Peaceful Pine & Golden Glow Cardstocks with a sneak peek of the new Bloom Boutique DSP. I also used the Boutique Blossoms Bundle to stamp & die-cut the flower which used Basic White Cardstock with Crisp Cantaloupe Ink, which was popped up using a Stampin' Dimensionals & placed on the Barely Blush Circle that was stamped with the deco stamp in the set using Barely Blush Ink. For the sentiment, I used the Scalloped Blooms Stamp Set to add the sentiment to the Barely Blush Cardstock base using Crisp Cantaloupe Ink. Lastly, I used the 2026-28 In Color Dots (Golden Glow) to add to the center of the flower.

Layers Of Beauty - Thinking Of You

Hello Stampers,
It's a double challenge kind of day for today's card. Using the theme from The Paper Players and a color challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments. I wasn't to sure of the color challenge at first because I couldn't figure out a direction to go until I saw the theme challenge but I love how my card turned out & I hope you do as well, even if I used a few retired products.

I started the card with a layer of Basic White Cardstock where I used one of our retired masks from the Foursquare Decorative Masks with Soft Sea Foam Ink & a Blender Brush, to lightly add a subtle background. I took another piece of Basic White Cardstock stamping the largest flower stamp in the Layers Of Beauty bundle using Memento Black Ink, coloring it in with Cloud Cover, Misty Moonlight & Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends Combo Packs before die-cutting it & layering it onto the previous piece, then cut down some of the hang over of the floral stamp. For the sentiment, I used the retired Sentimental Framing Stamp Set as I wanted a larger stamp to take up some of the open space. These layers were then placed onto a Cloud Cover Cardstock layer followed by a Misty Moonlight Cardstock base. To finish the card, I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
