Amber Autumn - Autumn Wishes

Hello Stampers,
Today's card is a fun fold card featuring a stamp set & DSP that goes live tomorrow. Our weather is being kind to us this week & staying below the triple digits so hopefully, yesterday was the last day of those.

I started with a card front layer of Early Espresso Cardstock, then added 2 strips of Autumn Toile DSP to each side before adding the middle piece that makes it a fun fold. For the middle, I added another piece of the DSP before adding the focal point from the Amber Autumn Stamp Set that was stamped onto Gray Granite Cardstock using Early Espresso Ink, then colored in used Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Pecan Pie & Darling Duckling Stampin' Blends Combo Packs before I die-cut it using the Amber Autumn Dies. The sentiment was also stamped onto Gray Granite Cardstock & stamped with Early Espresso Ink, before being popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a few Neutral Sequins to finish the front of the card.

For the inside, I stamped another of the sentiments in the set using Early Espresso Ink with Gray Granite Cardstock, then added a piece of the DSP to the bottom to finish the card.

Love & Courage

Hello Stampers,
After dealing with my cancer diagnosis for the last year, one stamp set stood out in the upcoming mini catalog & I had to get it in my pre-order.

I started by stamping the largest stamp in the Love & Courage Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock using the Strawberry Slush Ink Pad, which was then layered onto Strawberry Slush Cardstock. Next, I embossed  a layer of Pretty In Pink Cardstock with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder before attaching it to a Strawberry Slush Cardstock base. The focal image was then added to the base using Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I used a few Party Dots (Pretty In Pink) to finish the card.

Love & Courage - Fun Fold

Hello Stampers,
After dealing with my breast cancer diagnosis for the last year, one stamp set stood out in the upcoming mini catalog & I had to get it in my pre-order. I also worked in this week's challenge from The Paper Players PP752 which to me looked like a great sketch to use the Gate Fun Fold with.

I started with a Basic White Cardstock square, then used the largest stamp in the Love & Courage Stamp Set to stamp with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad, then layered it on to a Melon Mambo Cardstock layer. Next, I used Melon Mambo Cardstock as the base to the gate fold, then stamped the ribbon stamp from the set with Melon Mambo Ink onto Pretty In Pink Cardstock, then split the layer to fit the base of the card. Lastly, I used a few Shiny Sequins (Melon Mambo) to finish the card.

Happy Place - Happy Birthday

Hello Stampers,
If you haven't seen it yet, I'm giving a sneak peek to a new Online Exclusive stamp set coming in September, which was made by Sharon Armstrong's 1 million dollar set. She says she made it as a good technique set.

I chose to use the Watercolor Pencils with a Blender Pen to give a watercolor technique look. It's been a while since I've used these tools. I stamped the "happy" from the Happy Place Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock using Memento Black Ink, then took different color pencils to color it in & used the Blender Pen to blend. I stamped the "birthday" using Coastal Cabana Ink, then used a template I made to add clouds using Balmy Blue Ink & Blender Brush. The focal point was then added to a layer of Basic Black Cardstock. For the card base, I used Coastal Cabana Cardstock, along with the next layer which I embossed using the So Swirly Embossing Folder to make it look like waves.

Thankful Garden - Happy Birthday

Hello stampers,

Today I thought I'd share another sneak peek of an upcoming bundle that not only comes with dies, but masks as well.

For this card, I wanted to use a monochromatic color theme, thanks to the Color Coach, I went for Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia & Berry Burst. I stamped an image from the Thankful Garden Stamp Set using Memento Black Ink, then used the Thankful Garden Decorative Masks to add color using Blending Brushes with Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Berry Burst, Granny Apple Green & Old Olive Ink Pads, before die-cutting using the Thankful Garden Dies. For the paper, I used Berry Burst & Basic White Cardstocks, with Everyday Skies DSP. For the sentiment, I used the Unbounded Love Stamp Set to stamp with the Berry Burst Ink Pad onto the Basic White Cardstock layer. Lastly, I added a few Party Dots to finish the card. And oh boy, did I just notice that I made a big boo boo but you can't really tell the difference in person but I'll tell *shh* I used Pretty In Pink for the DSP & the Party Dots. UGH! DUH!

Paper Measurements-

  • Berry Burst Cardstock:
    • Base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
    • Strip - 1/2 x 5 1/4
  • Basic White Cardstock:

MMS021725 - You Make A Difference

Hello stampers,

Today's card was inspired by this week's Mystery Monday Stamping tutorial using a new set coming next month under the Online Exlusives.

I don't use a lot of Fresh Freesia, but I remember the beautiful lavender colored hydrangeas we had in New York & this was the closest color that made me think of them. I used the soon to be released Thankful Garden Bundle, stamped the flower using Memento Black Ink, then colored it using the Fresh Freesia & Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. I used Fresh Freesia & Basic White Cardstock to make the card & Fresh Freesia Ink to stamp a sentiment from the set. Lastly, I added a few Starburst Sequins that will also be released in March to finish the card.

You Had Me At Doughnuts

Hello stampers,

Last week I had to take a little break I've been dealing with a lot & it rolled over to my stamping & put me in a funk. While I wasn't creative, I got really good at some online games to keep my mind busy. LOL! Today's card is a sneak peek at a few things coming in the new mini catalog,

I decided to play with the More Than Autumn Bundle & the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. I started by stamping the donuts onto a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock with Pecan Pie Ink. I then colored them in using Pecan Pie, Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight, Shaded Spruce, Blackberry Bliss, Pumpkin Pie, Poppy Parade, Azure Afternoon & Deep Stampin' Blends Combo Packs, before using the More Than Autumn Dies to die-cut them. For the sentiment, I used the Pecan Pie Ink Pad again to put together a sentiment from the stamp set then used the Autumn Leaves Dies word box to cut the sentiment out. I used both sizes of Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the donuts & the sentiment onto Petal Pink Cardstock that was embossed using the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder, before being added to a Pecan Pie Cardstock base. I used all 4 of the Shiny Sequins colors to mimic the sprinkles on the donuts.

Paper Measurements-

  • Pecan Pie Cardstock:
    • Base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
  • Petal Pink Cardstock:
    • Layer - 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
  • Basic WhiteCardstock:
    • Layer - 4 1/4 x 2 3/4
