Mountain Air Thinking Of You

Hello stampers,
As I told you yesterday I really LOVE the New Horizons DSP, it lends itself to so many of our scenic stamps but can also make a statement on its own.
I started this card with a leftover scrap from the New Horizons DSP & added some trees from the Mountain Air Stamp Set to the background of this paper & the sentiment from the On The Horizon Stamp Set both used Evening Evergreen Ink. Once I finished stamping I backed the DSP with Evening Evergreen Cardstock before attaching it to the Basic White Cardstock base. It's a very simple & quick card to make.
Remember it's the last month of the Jan-Jun 2022 mini catalog & everything is while supplies last!

On The Horizon A Note Of Thanks

Hello stampers,
I made today's card after finding a sketch online that I wanted to try. If you like sketches one place I like to go to is Freshly Made Sketches & even if the challenge is over like this one was you can still use the sketch. WIN! WIN!
The set I chose to use was On The Horizon Stamp Set along with the New Horizons DSP, both will be retiring here at the end of the month (or while supplies last.) I so love this DSP & will miss it luckily I got an extra pack so I can continue to use it. 😁 I used Evening Evergreen Cardstock for the base of the card, then used the New Horizons DSP & die cut the bottom using the Basic Borders Dies. Next, I added the trees from the On The Horizon Stamp Set using Evening Evergreen Ink, before attaching to the base of the card. For the banner, I used Evening Evergreen Cardstock & punched the ends using the Banners Pick A Punch Punch. For the sentiment, I used Basic White Cardstock die cutting it out using the Layering Circles Dies, then used a sentiment from the Wildlife Wonder Stamp Set with Evening Evergreen Ink, this was then popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.
If you'd like to take a shot at this sketch too I have included it here, Remember, challenges are however you interpret them.

Paradise Palms Birthday

Hello stampers,
Don't you hate it when you have just finished your stamped piece & as you are closing the ink pads up they wobble but you catch it before they land on your project but didn't think to check your fingers for ink before touching said piece? 😧 Yep that's what I did last night & then gave up to redo it this morning, good thing though is that I still had enough room to be able to cut the area off instead of having to redo it. So that was the not-so-fun part of this card. EEK!
I wanted to do a night sky scene so I chose to use the Paradise Palms Stamp Set. I started with a Basic White Cardstock piece, stamping the sand/rock & palm trees using Memento Black Ink. Next, I used a post-it note that I had punched out using a retired circle punch (we now have some masking paper that can be used for this purpose as well.) I then took my Blending Brushes first with Orchid Oasis Ink then Starry Sky Ink & slowly blended them around the masked area all the way down to the sand/rock area. For the sentiment, I used the same set with Memento Black Ink. Once I was done, I layered the stamped piece on top of Basic Black Cardstock. For the next layer, I used Orchid Oasis Cardstock & embossed it using the Bark 3D Embossing Folder, which was then placed onto Starry Sky Cardstock to finish the card.

March Share It Sunday Blog Hop

Hello stampers,
Today I'm hopping along for the Share It Sunday Blog Hop by the Crafty Collaborations FB group where we can share any current project.
For this card, I started with a Mango Melody Cardstock base followed by a Basic White Cardstock layer that had been embossed using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder then ran some Mango Melody Ink using Blending Brushes to add a bit of color. Next, I used the Ranunculus Dies to cut out the open flower using the Ombre Specialty Paper. For the stamped image, I used the Ranunculus Romance Stamp Set to stamp the floral bunch on Basic White Cardstock using Smoky Slate Ink, then colored it in using Granny Apple Green & retired Mango Melody Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. The sentiment was from the same set stamped using Mango Melody Ink which was then backed using Mango Melody Cardstock layer. I attached the die cut using Multipurpose Glue then added the stamped image using Stampin' Dimensionals.
