Simply Leaves - I'm Grateful For Your Kindness

Hello Stampers,
Sorry, last week was a little hectic & I realized last night that I never scheduled this card last week to finish up the Simply Leaves bundle highlighting. EEK! This card was inspired by an old sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

I started off with punching 3 leaves from the Autumn Fields Two-Tone Cardstock using the lighter side of Cajun Craze, Old Olive & Pecan Pie, then stamped the veins from the Simply Leaves Stamp Set using Cajun Craze, Old Olive & Pecan Pie Inks. I used Very Vanilla Cardstock & embossed it using the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder & placing it on a Early Espresso Cardstock base, before adding the leaves. I used a small strip of Autumn Fields Two-Tone Cardstock in Early Espresso to run across the card. I then used a sentiment from the set, stamping with Early Espresso Ink & fussy cutting around it & used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it off the card. Finally, I added a few Earthy Matte Dots (Early Espresso) to finish the card.

Radiant Sunflowers - Grateful For You

Hello Stampers,
Today's card was made for this week's Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch & I chose to use a few new products that will be available in September.

I started the card with a Golden Glow Cardstock base, then stamped the sunflower from the Radiant Sunflowers Stamp Set with Golden Glow Ink & placed a strip of the Sunflower Fields DSP on the bottom. Next, I used the Radiant Sunflower Dies with Goldon Glow & Early Espresso Cardstock, along with the Nested Essential Dies to die-cut the Mossy Meadow Cardstock background. For the sentiment, I used the Elegant Leaves Stamp Set, stamping it with Early Espresso Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock, fussy cut around it & then popped it up using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I added a few Earthy Matte Dots (Early Espresso) to finish the card.

Fun Fold - Autumn Wishes

Hello Stampers,
Today's card was inspired by the a Fall Creativate tutorial, I can't believe I haven't made a step card until now.
For this card, I started with a Mossy Meadow Cardstock base, then decorated the front of the card with Autumn Toile DSP. For the focal point, I used Cajun Craze & Very Vanilla Cardstocks, then stamped the pumpkin stamp from the Amber Autumn Stamp Set using Memento Black Ink & colored it in using Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow & Gray Granite Stampin' Blends Combo Packs, then added a sentiment from the set using Mossy Meadow Ink. Making this card with the small step is probably going to add some bulk to the envelope, I may try it again without the smaller step.

Autumn Trees - Grateful For You

Hello Stampers,
I think I went a little overboard with this card. I started it to use 1 of my favorite & simple techniques called "thumping", but with the vast space it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped so I mixed in some blending.

I stamped the tree from the Autumn Trees Stamp Set onto Very Vanilla Cardstock using Crushed Curry Ink for the leaves of the tree then used Blackberry Bliss, Garden Green & Cajun Craze Stampin Write Markers & with the brush end added the colors in a thumping fashion. Remember if you use this technique you may have to *huff* to refresh the ink. I wasn't thrilled with this look as much as I had hoped, so I took a Very Vanilla Cardstock scrap piece & with my Blending Brushes added Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Cajun Craze & Blackberry Bliss Ink to the cardstock, before die-cutting the canopy part of the tree from the Autumn Trees Dies, I remembered to add an Adhesive Sheet to the back which made it way more simpler to add it to the tree. Next, I again blended those colors above onto a larger layer of Very Vanilla Cardstock then used the Amber Autumn leaf die for a background which I then attached to a layer of Pecan Pie Cardstock before attaching it to a Very Vanilla Cardstock base. I also used a sentiment from the Amber Autumn Stamp Set, which I then die-cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Lastly, I added a few Polished Dots to finish the card.
