Priceless

Hello stampers,
It's Blast From The Past Thursday!
For today's card I think the only thing I used that is still current is the Whisper White Card Stock. It's hard to believe how much retired stuff I have, I know I have tons of retired sets because I can see those everyday on my shelves but it is the embellishments & wheels I forget I have because they aren't out in the open as much. Must remember to start using this stuff, but then I may be sad once it is gone. Go ahead & say it, I'm a HOARDER for SU! stuff. Yes, I can admit it, I am!
So I can dream about SPRING, right? Weathermen say we are going to have a late spring, but I can make it spring-like with paper. I started by stamping the 3 butterflies from the retired Priceless Stamp Set onto Whisper White Card Stock using the retired Almost Amethyst Ink & sponging around the sides in Barely Banana Ink. This was then backed by Almost Amethyst Card Stock. For the next piece I used the retired wheel SA So Swirly rolling it onto Whisper White Card Stock with Almost Amethyst Ink, then using the small flower from the set in Barely Banana Ink. I then backed this piece also with Almost Amethyst Card Stock & added 3 Barely Banana Eyelets. Both piece were stacked onto each other then attached to the Barely Banana Card Stock base, where I added a greeting from the Curvy Verses Stamp Set.

Be Mine

Howdy stampers!
I wanna know how the weekend can be over so quickly? I gotta figure out a way to have my weekend last longer than the regular work week, lol! I hope for some of you today is a holiday, for me it's off to work I go. No rest for the weary here I tell ya!
Today's project is a scrapbook page using another set from the Occasions Mini catalog that was from this month's class at Maria's. Someday I may actually have photos to go with all these pages I do at her house. Until then they will look purrrrrty on my blog. I hope you enjoy!

The Sounding Joy

 Hello stampers!
So are you ready for Christmas yet? I'm still feverishly working on Christmas cards & some other gifts, but I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one in that boat. Here is the 2nd Christmas card I came up with Tuesday morning & then had to stop mid-stream due to work calling me in earlier than expected, so of course I have to come up with a 3rd idea again because I forgot what I wanted to do. UGH! But we gotta do what we gotta do so I will be burning the midnight oil & trying to get these done to mail out later today. Wish me luck! And I wish all those others who like me are trying to get everything done before Sunday.
I just realized that the ribbon sticks out in color way more than in real life, along with the embossing powder which is the same color as the ink, maybe I shouldn't have refilled my pad before doing these cards, lol!

Havin' Snow Much Fun

I finally finished the card I was trying to do yesterday to match my projects. It uses the same colors & set as yesterday but a different die. I really like this set, but then again I am a partial to snowmen. Also, I have another project from Frances who sent me a butterfly note holder using new colors & the big shot.

I need to try Frances' project it is too cute, although I think I will try it with copy paper instead of post-its.

Watercolor Trio Blues

Heavens to Betsy, I realized 2 things yesterday, the 1st was that my preorder from June remained mostly untouched until last night when I put the sets together, the paper & such I still need to make a spot for so they remain in the box.. Ok I hope nobody fainted at that announcement I thought it was hard to believe too. The 2nd thing I realized as I started typing up this post was that all the swaps I did in May were all birthday cards, funny that I didn't notice that, guess I wanted to continue to celebrate my birthday month with all these cards.

The card I bring you today is from the floral swap

Ingredients:
Stamps- Watercolor Trio, SA Very Vintage
Ink- Night of Navy
Paper- Whisper White & Night of Navy
Other- Night of Navy 1/4" grosgrain, Scallop Oval & Large Oval punches

Birthday Box Card

Today I'm featuring a card I did for a PMS (Popup, Movement & Shaped) swap. The idea for my card came from Kelly Ward's blog Craftin' Up!. I did change a few things on my card like how I made my bow & tag, then I added actual ribbon to it as well. I thought the card turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself. The nice thing about this card is that you can make it any size you want depending on the envelope you want to send it in.

Ingredients:
Stamps- SA Cupcakes & Teeny Tiny Wishes; Ink- Rich Razzleberry; Paper- Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry & Soft Suede DSP; Other- Soft Suede 1/2" Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Butterfly Punch, Small & Large Oval Punches & 1/2" Circle Punch
