Whispering Woods - Merry Christmas

Hello Stampers,

Today's Christmas card was inspired by a sketch from Dawn Griffith using the lovely Whispering Woods DSP.  For each sale of this DSP $3.00 will be donated to organizations around the world to help spread holiday cheer.

I started this card cutting 6 squares from the Whispering Woods DSP, layering them on Shaded Spruce & Blueberry Bushel Cardstocks, then adding all the layers to a Basic White Cardstock base. I used the 2" Circle Punch to punch out the moose from the DSP, then layered it with a retired 2 1/4" Circle Punch which was then attached to the other layers using Stampin' Dimensionals. I used a sentiment from Soiree Salutations Stamp Set, stamping it with Pretty Peacock Ink onto Basic White Cardstock then die-cut it using the Noel Tidings Dies. Lastly, I added a few Pearl Faceted Dots that will be coming soon to finish the card.

Autumn Opulence - Celebrate Today

Hello Stampers,

Today's card was the last card I made for spotlight on Autumn Opulence, but couldn't share it until now since it was made for my mom's birthday. 

I started this card using a Golden Glow Cardstock base, before adding a layer of Autumn Opulence DSP. For the sentiment, I used Golden Glow Cardstock that was die-cut using the Nested Essentials Dies, then used the Framed & Fabulous Stamp Set with Blackberry Bliss Ink. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to add it to the card, then finished it by adding a few Antique Pearls.

Autumn Opulence

Hello Stampers,

Today's card features the Autumn Opulence Specialty DSP & it was inspired by a sketch from Dawn Griffith. What are your thoughts on not having a sentiment on the front of the card? I think if the focal point is large enough a sentiment isn't always needed on the front. 

I started the card with a Golden Glow Cardstock layer, then placed 3 pieces of Autumn Opulence DSP on top, before adding this layer to a Blackberry Bliss Cardstock base. For the focal point, I used one of the die-cuts that come with the DSP popping it up using Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a few 2026-28 In Color Dots (Golden Glow) to finish the card.

Soiree Salutations - Peace Hope Joy

Hello Stampers,

How many of you have started to think about Christmas? Just when I thought it was safe to start thinking about Christmas with our cooler weather, Mother Nature is bringing us back to the mid to low 90's UGH. How many cards do you make? These days I'm making about 60-70. Do you do one style or several? I have to do several styles or I get bored, usually 5 to 10 of each style. 

Today's card was inspired by this week's sketch by The Paper Players & I thought about using the new Whispering Woods DSP as the focal point, this has such pretty colors in it. I started with a Pretty Peacock Cardstock base, followed by the 2 pieces of DSP. I used a Night Of Navy Cardstock strip as the base for my sentiment. Next, I used Shaded Spruce Cardstock that was punched out using the 2" Circle Punch then embossed with the Swirls Of Magic Embossing Folder. I used the Soiree Salutations Stamp Set for the sentiment stamping onto Basic White Cardstock with Night Of Navy Ink, then used the 3 Banner Punch to punch it out & added it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I added a few Antique Pearls to finish the card.
