Thankful Garden - You Make A Difference

Hello Stampers,
Today's card was inspired by this week's Just Us Girls challenge #790 using stencils. I don't tend to use these a lot, because they are tucked away & usually forgotten so thought this would be a great time to brush the dust off & make a card with one of the stencils.

I started with a Basic White Cardstock layer, then used the Thankful Garden Decorative Masks along with the Blending Brushes to add Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist & Old Olive Inks layer by layer. This was then added to a layer of Berry Burst Cardstock before attaching it to a Bubble Bath Cardstock base. I used the Berry Burst Ink Pad to stamp one of the sentiments in the Thankful Garden Stamp Set to Fresh Freesia Cardstock, cut banner ends on both sides then used Stampin' Dimensionals to add it to the card. Lastly, I added a few Purple Sequins (Fresh Freesia) to add a bit of bling to finish the card.

Happy Place - Happy Birthday

Hello Stampers,
If you haven't seen it yet, I'm giving a sneak peek to a new Online Exclusive stamp set coming in September, which was made by Sharon Armstrong's 1 million dollar set. She says she made it as a good technique set.

I chose to use the Watercolor Pencils with a Blender Pen to give a watercolor technique look. It's been a while since I've used these tools. I stamped the "happy" from the Happy Place Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock using Memento Black Ink, then took different color pencils to color it in & used the Blender Pen to blend. I stamped the "birthday" using Coastal Cabana Ink, then used a template I made to add clouds using Balmy Blue Ink & Blender Brush. The focal point was then added to a layer of Basic Black Cardstock. For the card base, I used Coastal Cabana Cardstock, along with the next layer which I embossed using the So Swirly Embossing Folder to make it look like waves.

Sunflower - I Appreciate You

Hello Stampers,

I know I'm a bit late in the game to try this technique, but I thought I'd finally give it a try when I saw something similar popped up in my feed that reminded me I had to try this.

I started with a piece of Basic White Cardstock & embossed it with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. I flipped the piece over to the debossed side (the side that indents inward, not outward) & used Sponge Daubers & Blending Brushes to add Crushed Curry, Old Olive & Early Espresso Ink to the different areas, after all was done I then used the Memento Black Ink Pad to fill in as the background. **TIP-do this lightly & gently in all directions, you can see the few areas I was a bit heavy handed on.** For the sentiment, I used the Impressions Abloom Stamp Set & stamped it onto Crushed Curry Cardstock with Memento Black Ink then banner ended 1 side. Lastly, I added a few Polished Dots to finish the card.

Impressions Abloom - You Are Seriously The Best

Hello Stampers,
Today's card was inspired by the color challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments. It took me a bit to think of something I wanted to make as Blackberry Bliss isn't on my radar as much these days.

I started the card with a Blackberry Bliss Cardstock base followed by a layer of Floral Impressions DSP. I used the Impressions Abloom Stamp Set to stamp the insides of 2 flowers with the Blackberry Bliss & Fresh Freesia Ink Pads onto Fresh Freesia Cardstock, before using the Impressions Abloom Dies to die-cut them, along with the stem & leaves using Granny Apple Green Cardstock. Next, I embossed a piece of Pool Party Cardstock using the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder before attaching it to the card base & gluing all but 1 flower which was popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals. I used the Textured Notes Stamp Set for the sentiment using the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad on Fresh Freesia Cardstock, cut banner ends on both sides before popping it up using Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I used a few Purple Sequins to finish the card.

Sunrise Sailing - Congratulations

Hello Stampers,
Happy Friday everyone! Today's card was inspired by The Paper Players #PP49 theme challenge which was By The Water.

I chose to use the Sunrise Sailing Bundle for this challenge, embossing Balmy Blue Cardstock with the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder, then using a Blending Brush to add some Blueberry Bushel Ink to the water area & then used a Sponge Dauber to add some White Craft Ink to the clouds. Next, I used the sailboat die to die-cut the boat out of the Balmy Blue Cardstock & replaced it with a die-cut of the stamped image where I stamped on to Basic White Cardstock using the Memento Black & Blueberry Bushel Ink Pads & colored int the boat with Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends Combo Pack. For the sentiment, I stamped using the Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad onto b, cut an end at an angle & attached it to the cards using Stampin' Dimensionals.
