Happy Place - Happy Birthday

Hello Stampers,
If you haven't seen it yet, I'm giving a sneak peek to a new Online Exclusive stamp set coming in September, which was made by Sharon Armstrong's 1 million dollar set. She says she made it as a good technique set.

I chose to use the Watercolor Pencils with a Blender Pen to give a watercolor technique look. It's been a while since I've used these tools. I stamped the "happy" from the Happy Place Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock using Memento Black Ink, then took different color pencils to color it in & used the Blender Pen to blend. I stamped the "birthday" using Coastal Cabana Ink, then used a template I made to add clouds using Balmy Blue Ink & Blender Brush. The focal point was then added to a layer of Basic Black Cardstock. For the card base, I used Coastal Cabana Cardstock, along with the next layer which I embossed using the So Swirly Embossing Folder to make it look like waves.

Along These Lines - Happy Birthday

Hello Stampers,
Today's card uses the same sketch as Tuesday's card, except that I use the 3 strips as Jackie had in her card instead of the 2.

I started this card with a layer of Basic White Cardstock, stamped the cake from the Along These Lines Stamp Set & the sentiment from the Beautiful Butterflies Stamp Set using the Azure Afternoon Ink Pad. I used the retired Bright & Beautiful DSP for the 3 strips, then back this layer onto an Azure Afternoon Cardstock layer, which was then added to a Basic White Cardstock base. Lastly, I added a few Rainbow Dots (Azure Afternoon) to finish this monochromatic card.

CASE the Catalog

Hello Stampers,
Today's card was inspired by a card I found in the catalog, I ended up using the sketch to make my card.

I started with a layer of Floral Charm DSP, which is a new Online Exclusive DSP, this was layered on to Berry Burst Cardstock base. Next, I used a small strip of Berry Burst Cardstock, embossed it with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder (my FAV!) then fussy cut the end with a banner detail using the Paper Snips. I stamped a sentiment from the Beautiful Butterflies Stamp Set using the Berry Burst Ink Pad on Basic White Cardstock, then popped it up using Stampin' Dimensionals before adding it to the card base. Lastly, I added a few Brushed Brass Butterflies to finish the card.

Perfectly Pears - Triple Time Technique

Hello Stampers,
Today's card was inspired by a favorite technique that I've used quite a bit which is the Triple Time Technique. It's a great technique that does well with full images & after using this new set yesterday I thought I would give it a try.

I started with 3 different sizes of Basic White Cardstock that I stacked on top of each other using a few glue dots to keep the cardstock in place. I stamped the pear from the Perfectly Pear Stamp Set using the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad over all 3 pieces together, this will leave a border where each piece meets but is easily covered with the layer you put behind I used Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock. I also stamped the stem with the Early Espresso Ink Pad, then colored it using Old Olive & Deep Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. For the sentiment, I used another new Online Exclusive set called Charming Day. Lastly, I added a few Shiny Sequins to finish the card

Celebratory Sips - Cheers!

Hello Stampers,
Today's card uses a recent Online Exclusvie stamp set. I didn't originally set out to make this particular card I had a whole different set I was thinking about, then changed my mind. My brain was coming up with another idea & this is what I ended up with. LOL!

I started this card by die-cutting the 2 glass dies from the Cheers & Sips Dies from a Cloud Cover Cardstock base, along with 2 drinks from the Celebratory Sips DSP. Next, I used the Elements of Text Stamp Set to add a few splotches onto the base using the Stampin' Write 2025-2027 In Color Markers since I haven't gotten the Cloud Cover Ink Refill to make my mini ink pad. I then pulled out the Mini Alphabet Dies to create a a cheers banner! I wrapped around the card & the smallest glass with the White 1/4" Ribbon & tied it into a knot, before finishing the card with a few Purple Sequins in the white color

Everyday Arch Dies Make Happy Birthday Rainbow

Hello Stampers,
Today's card was inspired by a card I saw on FB yesterday & I was like "oh I can make something similar with Stampin' Up! products!"

I started die-cutting with the Everyday Arch Dies using Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Shaded Spruce, Azure Afternoon & Gorgeous Grape Cardstocks, then layering each piece on top of each other. I used the Unbounded Love Stamp Set to stamp the sentiment onto the Gorgeous Grape die-cut piece with the Memento Black Ink Pad. Next, I used the retired Cloud Punch to add a couple clouds using Basic White Cardstock under the rainbow. I used a Basic White Cardstock base, followed by a layer of Everyday Skies DSP, before attaching the die cut using Multipurpose Liquid Glue & Stampin' Dimensionals.

Darling Dinos - Hope Your Birthday is Dino-mite

Hello Stampers,
I can't believe that I haven't made a card yet with the Darling Dinos bundle yet. I thought they were so cute, so I really wanted to make a card using some primary colors with the set using a sketch I used recently.

I started by stamping one of the dinos, string & balloon onto Basic White Cardstock using Memento Black Ink, then coloring the images Pumpkin Pie, Shaded Sprucein using  & what was supposed to be Real Red was actually Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. Next, I stamped the hat using the same ink then coloring it in using the 3 colors above along with Blueberry Bushel Stampin' Blends Combo Packs, die-cut it then layered the image onto Blueberry Bushel Cardstock. On the Pumpkin Pie, Shaded Spruce & Real Red Cardstocks I used the same color of inks to add the hat & balloon to each of them, before adding them to a Blueberry Bushel Cardstock base. Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from the set using the Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad, fussy cut the banner ends & then added Stampin' Dimensionals to pop the sentiment up.
