Elegant Leaves - Triple Step Technique

Hello Stampers,
Today is the final day of showcasing the Eternal Leaves Stamp Set & this card was made for this week's Crafty Collaborations for Pretty Peacock on Instagram.

I chose to make the card with the Triple Time technique, which is stamping on 3 layers at once, then adding layers in between to cover the border areas that really don't get ink. I used the Elegant Leaves Stamp Set to stamp one of the leaves outline all over the card & added the sentiment to the top layer using Basic White Cardstock with Pretty Peacock Ink. The layers & base of the card use Pretty Peacock Cardstock. Lastly, I used Array Of Dots (Pretty Peacock) to finish the card. To see what other demos made for this hop, please go to my Instagram link & click on the card to see a list of participants.

Beautiful Gallery DSP - Happy Anniversary

Hello Stampers,
I took a break from a few things I'm working on, that is due by the weekend. EEK! Today's card was inspired by the last Paper Craft Crew's sketch challenge for possibly the 2nd project I'm working on.

I started this card with a Basic Beige Cardstock base, followed by a layer of Beautiful Gallery DSP. I chose Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Cardstocks for the banners. For the sentiment, I used the Layers Of Beauty Stamp Set stamping it with Smoky Slate Ink onto Basic Beige Cardstock, then banner cut the bottom. To finish the card I use the Metallic Gems in silver.

Fluffiest Friends - My Heart Belongs To You

Hello stampers,

One last card for Love or Valentine's Day! I haven't figured out what card I'll give my hubby for our anniversary yet, but I couldn't pass up the handmade heart the beaver made for his/her love.

I started with a Cherry Cobbler Cardstock base, then layered it with the retired Regals DSP from last year. Next, I stamped the dam & the beaver from the Fluffiest Friends Stamp Set on 2 separate pieces of Basic White Cardstock coloring them both in using Cherry Cobbler, Pecan Pie & Medium Deep Stampin' Blends. I then used some Pecan Pie Ink with a Blending Brush to add a bit more fill to the dam, then added the die-cut beaver on top using Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a sentiment from the Hearts Of Elegance Stamp Set using the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad, then layered the stamped piece with a layer of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock.

Paper Measurements-

  • Cherry Cobbler Cardstock:
    • Base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
    • Layer - 2 5/8 x 3 7/8
  • Basic White Cardstock:
    • Layer - 2 1/2 x 3 3/4
  • Regald DSP:
    • Layer - 4 x 5 1/4

Hearts Of Elegance - My Heart Belongs To You

Hello stampers,

It's getting to be that time where I have to figure out 2 cards for my hubby, anniversary & Valentine's Day, since those occasions are close together.

I started with 10 strips of 2 designs of Marbled Elegance DSP & layered them into a zig-zag design onto a Basic White Cardstock base. Next, I used the Hearts of Elegance Dies to cut out 3 hearts using Poppy Parade & Basic White Cardstocks before adding a sentiment & xoxo from the Hearts Of Elegance Stamp Set using Cherry Cobbler Ink. I glued the big heart to the card base, but used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the 2 smaller hearts. I finished the card by adding a few Heart Sequins.

Paper Measurements-

  • Basic White Cardstock:
    • Base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
    • Layer - 4 x 3 3/4
  • Poppy Parade Cardstock:
    • Layer - 1 1/2 x 3
  • Marbled Elegance DSP:
    • Layer - (10) 3 3/4 x 1/2

Sophisticated Sled - Let's Decorate

Hello stampers,

I felt a little Christmasy today even though it's 102* outside, so I made a card using a set from the new mini catalog,

I started this card with die-cutting all the sled parts, leaves, & skates using the Sophisticated Sled Dies to die-cut Real Red, Garden Green, & Basic White Cardstocks and Silver Foil & Country Woods DSP. I stamped the cardinal with Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock then die-cut it before coloring it in using Real Red & Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. I assembled all the pieces, added some white twine from the Baker's Twine Essential Pack, tied it into a bow & hung the skates from each of the ends & popped each up using Stampin' Dimensionals. I used the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder to emboss the Basic White Cardstock layer then took a scrap piece fussy cut a snow drift & stamped one of the sentiments from the Sophisticated Sled Stamp Set using Real Red Ink, & popped it up on the top to slide the sled behind it. I went a little overboard with some retired Snowflake Sequins & added then all to the embossed snowflakes & to the snow drift. I finished the cards by adding a layer of Garden Green Cardstock onto a Real Red Cardstock base.

Paper Measurements-

  • Real Red Cardstock:
    • Base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
    • Sled & Laces - 2 x 4
  • Garden Green Cardstock:
    • Layer - 4 1/8 x 15 3/8
    • Leaves - 2 1/2 x  1 1/12
  • Basic White Cardstock:
    • Layer - 4 x 5 1/4
    • Skates & Bird - 4 x 2
  • Silver Foil:
    • Blades - 1 x 1 1/4
  • Country Woods DSP:
    • Layer - 2 1/2 x 2 1/4
