Hello stampers,
I felt a little Christmasy today even though it's 102* outside, so I made a card using a set from the new mini catalog,
I started this card with die-cutting all the sled parts, leaves, & skates using the Sophisticated Sled Dies to die-cut Real Red, Garden Green, & Basic White Cardstocks and Silver Foil & Country Woods DSP. I stamped the cardinal with Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock then die-cut it before coloring it in using Real Red & Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. I assembled all the pieces, added some white twine from the Baker's Twine Essential Pack, tied it into a bow & hung the skates from each of the ends & popped each up using Stampin' Dimensionals. I used the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder to emboss the Basic White Cardstock layer then took a scrap piece fussy cut a snow drift & stamped one of the sentiments from the Sophisticated Sled Stamp Set using Real Red Ink, & popped it up on the top to slide the sled behind it. I went a little overboard with some retired Snowflake Sequins & added then all to the embossed snowflakes & to the snow drift. I finished the cards by adding a layer of Garden Green Cardstock onto a Real Red Cardstock base.
