Frosted Pinecones - Winter Wishes

Hello Stampers,
Today's Christmas card started off way different than how it ended, but I'm liking the new version. The template used is from Jackie Bolhuis.

I began with a Pecan Pie Cardstock base and added a layer of Shaded Spruce Cardstock, cut into 3 sections. Before attaching the panels, I stamped them with the pine needle image from the Noel Tidings Stamp Set using Shaded Spruce Ink.

For the focal image, I stamped the largest image from the Frosted Pinecones Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock with Early Espresso Ink. I then colored it using the Pecan Pie, Shaded Spruce, & Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. I chose Soft Sea Foam to soften the stark white areas and create a more cohesive look.

For the sentiment, I used Soft Sea Foam Cardstock instead of Basic White, as I preferred the softer color. I stamped the sentiment with Pecan Pie Ink, die-cut it using the Noel Tidings Dies, & popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals for added dimension.

To finish the card, I embellished it with a few retired Glitter Sequins for a touch of sparkle.

Autumn Opulence - Celebrate Today

Hello Stampers,
Today's card was the last card I made for spotlight on Autumn Opulence, but couldn't share it until now since it was made for my mom's birthday.

I started this card using a Golden Glow Cardstock base, before adding a layer of Autumn Opulence DSP. For the sentiment, I used Golden Glow Cardstock that was die-cut using the Nested Essentials Dies, then used the Framed & Fabulous Stamp Set with Blackberry Bliss Ink. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to add it to the card, then finished it by adding a few Antique Pearls.

Autumn Opulence

Hello Stampers,
Today's card features the Autumn Opulence Specialty DSP & it was inspired by a sketch from Dawn Griffith. What are your thoughts on not having a sentiment on the front of the card? I think if the focal point is large enough a sentiment isn't always needed on the front.

I started the card with a Golden Glow Cardstock layer, then placed 3 pieces of Autumn Opulence DSP on top, before adding this layer to a Blackberry Bliss Cardstock base. For the focal point, I used one of the die-cuts that come with the DSP popping it up using Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a few 2026-28 In Color Dots (Golden Glow) to finish the card.

Autumn Opulence - Thankful For You

Hello Stampers,
Although it's pumpkin spice everything right now, Mother Nature still isn't giving up the summer temps quite yet. So I'm working on a few more "fall-ish" cards in hopes that we can at least get & stay down below mid 80s. This week I'll be spotlighting the Autumn Opulence DSP, it's a pretty DSP that I bypassed the 1st time around until I saw cards being made with it & I gave it a 2nd look. Something a bit different about this DSP it that it comes with 2 sheets of die-cuts with it, so you can really make fast & easy cards with it by just adding sentiments to the card from your favorite sets.

This card by using an old card template from Jackie Bolhuis. I started the card with a Pecan Pie Cardstock base, followed by a layer of Golden Glow Cardstock that was embossed using the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder. Next, I cut 3 rectangles from the Autumn Opulence DSP from the same sheet, just flipped 2 of them. For the sentiment, I punched a circle from Very Vanilla Cardstock using the 2" Circle Punch, then used the Fern & Flora & Painted Pumpkin Stamp Sets with Pecan Pie & Golden Glow (stamped off once) Ink Pads, before adding Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up. Lastly, I added a few Painted Patch Dots (Golden Glow) to finish the card.
