Bee My Valentine - You Can Do Amazing Things

Hello Stampers,

Today's card was inspired by the Creativeate Summer pre-challenge which was a sketch. I went really girlie with the colors from the DSP.

I started with a Petunia Pop Cardstock base, followed by a layer of Bubble Bath Cardstock. I used 3 different patterned papers from the Cute As Can Bee DSP which was glued to the Bubble Bath Cardstock. I then used the Nestled Essential Dies to die-cut a frame for the focal point out of Basic White Cardstock. For the bee, I used the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set on Basic White Cardstock stamping with the Petunia Pop, Bubble Bath & Memento Black Ink Pads, then used the Bee Builder Punch to punch out the pieces. For the sentiment, I used the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set with the Petunia Pop Ink Pad. Lastly, I added a few retired 2024-2026 Shimmer Gems to the antennas.

Bee My Valentine - Bee Mine

Hello stampers,

Today's card was inspired by the Day 20 sketch from Martin's Mayhem - Papercrafter, I did use a few retired things to make this card, because I wasn't really thinking about retired items until I went to find out a color used in the paper but I still went with it. EEK!

I started with a Petal Pink Cardstock base & layered it with a retired sheet of Bee Mine DSP. I then used Stylish Shape Dies to die-cut the circles using Basic White Cardstock, before starting to stamp with the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set (this set is still current but don't miss the new bee set in the Scrapbook Brochure called Meant to Bee which has a die set instead of the punch that came out for the set I am using.) I stamped the honeycomb with the Lemon Lolly Ink Pad(stamped off once) all over the circles then stamped the bee directly over using Daffodil Delight, Memento Black Ink & Petal Pink Ink Pads. For the sentiment, I used the retired Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad to stamp both the sentiment & the hearts, added a bow of retired Sweet Sorbet Twine then popped up the sentiment using Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a few Low Profile Dots to finish the card.

Beautiful Butterflies - Happy Birthday

Hello stampers,

For today's card I played around with a new butterfly bundle that has a hybrid embossing folder from the new mini catalog.

I started by stamping the outline of 2 butterflies from the Beautiful Butterflies Stamp Set with Memento Black Ink directly on to a piece of Full Of Life DSP, then die cut them out using the Beautiful Butterflies Dies, along with die-cutting a few of the bodies using Basic Black Cardstock. Next, I took a layer of Basic White Cardstock & embossed it using the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder. I added some color to some of the dots on the embossed image using Blueberry Bushel, Balmy Blue, Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Petunia Pop, Berry Burst, Melon Mambo & Real Red Stampin' Blends for a confetti type of look. I glued the 3 rainbow butterflies to the embossed layer, then glued that layer to a layer of Full Of Life DSP before adding it to a Basic White Cardstock base. I used a sentiment from the set stamping it with Memento Black Ink onto Basic White Cardstock fussy cutting the ends to a slant with Paper Snips, then popping it up using Stampin' Dimensionals to finish the card.
