Elegant Leaves - Sending Caring Thoughts

Hello Stampers,
I'm going to start switching things up & try to showcase a single product 3-4 times a week. Last week, I used the Radiant Sunflower Bundle & Sunflower Fields DSP. This week I'll be sharing a sneak peek of Elegant Leaves Bundle, which I've already shared one card so let's see how many ideas I can come up with on this go around. LOL!

Today's card was inspired by Brandy Cox from the Creativate Team with an early inspiration sheet for the fall session. I started my card with a Basic White Cardstock base, followed by a layer of this month's Product of the Month Glow Of Harvest DSP. For the focal point, I used the Elegant Leaves Stamp Set to stamp the biggest leaf with Crumb Cake & Early Espresso Ink onto a Basic White Cardstock, then layered it with an Early Espresso Cardstock layer. For the sentiment, I stamped one from the set using Early Espresso Ink onto a Basic White Cardstock strip, wrapped one side with Linen Thread & banner cut the other before I added Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up.

MMS072924 - Feel Better & Happy Birthday

Hello stampers,

Yesterday was a busy day & it was made harder with some bad news that caught me off guard. So I really needed to just stamp to take my mind off of things. Luckily Sharon Armstrong had posted a new Mystery Monday Stamping tutorial & I set off to make the 2 cards.

I chose to use the Countryside Inn DSP along with Basic White, Balmy Blue & Night Of Navy Cardstocks for both cards. I used the Wanted To Say Dies for the sentiment die-cuts. Lastly, I added a few Rainbow Dots & Ombre Dots based on the color of the sentiment. These are really nice, easy cards to make following the tutorial my brain didn't need to think about what to make.

Paper Measurements-

  • Balmy Blue Cardstock:
    • Base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
    • Sentiment - 3 x  1 7/8
  • Basic White Cardstock:
    • Layer - 4 x 5 1/4
    • Sentiment - 3 1/4 x 2
    • Sentiment - 1 7/8 x 3 1/4
  • Night Of Navy Cardstock:
    • Layer - 4 x 1
    • Sentiment - 1 1/2 x 3 1/8
  • Countryside Inn DSP:
    • Layer - 3 7/8 x 5 1/8

Brighter Skies - Feel Better Soon

Hello stampers,

I had planned to get up & make this post this morning, but it has been a rough day for me since about 12:30 AM, so here I am writing it up now instead.

I wanted to make a card using the new In Colors, so I decided to use the Brighter Skies Stamp Set to stamp the clouds using Summer Splash Ink, the sun with Daffodil Delight Ink all of which were stamped on Basic White Cardstock before being die-cut with the Brighter Skies Dies.  Next, I fussy cut some rolling hills using Shy Shamrock Cardstock, then stamped the stem part of the flowers with Shy Shamrock Ink, then alternated the Petunia Pop, Peach Pie & Pretty In Pink Inks for the flowers before adhering the hill to the bottom edge of the flowers & then cutting off the excess. I adhered the clouds & the sun, but felt it needed 1 more cloud so I die-cut one out of Basic White Cardstock then stamped a sentiment from the Unbounded Love Stamp Set using Summer Splash Ink, using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to add it to the card.

Paper Measurements-

  • Summer Splash Cardstock:
    • Base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
  • Basic White Cardstock:
    • Layer - 4 x 5 1/4
    • Layer - 4 1/2 x 4
  • Shy Shamrock Cardstock:
    • Layer - 5 1/4 x 1

Farewell Plentiful Plants

Hello stampers,
Today I decided to make a fun fold card, thanks to templates made from videos by Jackie Bolhuis. I haven't made a lot of cards with the set I'm using today & probably less with the matching dies, so I thought I would give Plentiful Plants some love.
I started this card with Basic White Cardstock & used my Stamparatus to stamp the background with the Stacked Stone Background Stamp, this was also used on the centerpiece, stamped off once with Soft Suede Ink. I used Basic White, Soft Suede & Garden Green Cardstocks with the Perfect Plant Dies for the plant & macrame holder, then used the Crumb Cake Twine in the Baker's Twine Essential Pack to "hang" it from the top of the card, this was then popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere to the card. For the sentiment, I again used Basic White Cardstock with the Through It Together Stamp Set & Garden Green Ink. This was then backed by a Garden Green Cardstock card front.

Paper Measurements-
  • Garden Green Cardstock:
    • Base - 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
    • Plant = 2 1/4 x 2 1/4
  • Basic White Cardstock:
    • Layer - 5 1/4 x 4
    • Layer - 2 1/2 x 4
    • Holder - 3 1/2 x 1 1/2
  • Soft SuedeCardstock:
    • Layer - 2 x 2
