Perfect Pomegranate So Happy For You

Hello stampers,

     Today I'm sharing a card that uses the SAB Hostess Set if your order or party is $300+. I really had no idea what I was going to do with this set but I winged it & I hope you like what I came up with.

     I started with a layer of Basic White Cardstock, then used the Perfect Pomegranate Stamp Set to stamp the leaf cluster with Garden Green Ink & the pomegranates with Merry Merlot Ink. The pomegranate on the right was fussy cut out using our Paper Snips then popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals. For the sentiment, I used the Good Feelings Stamps Set with Garden Green Ink. Once this layer was finished I adhered it to a Garden Green Cardstock layer then a Merry Merlot Cardstock base.

Fun Fold Friday with Hippest Hippos

Hello stampers,

     Today I'm sharing a fun fold card that Jackie Bolhuis did on a recent video, you can learn how to make this card along with 3 others HERE.

     I started this card with a Mango Melody Cardstock base, along with an additional small piece. I used the Hippest Hippo Stamp Set for this card, along with the Hippo Dies from the SAB catalog, coloring them with Crumb Cake, Gray Granite, Petal Pink, Balmy Blue, Melon Mambo & Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. For the opening of the card, I used 2 Melon Mambo Cardstock squares then layered Hues of Happiness DSP on top before adding the sentiments from the set with Memento Black Ink, then adhered the hippos die cuts to the DSP with Multipurpose Glue.

     This is the card 1/2 way opened, where you can see the other side of the square piece along with the additional Hues Of Happiness DSP that was placed on the smaller side of the scored part of the card.

     For the inside, I stamped directly onto the Basic White Cardstock layer with the hippo & the top sentiment. The happy birthday sentiment comes from the Party Puffins Stamp Set using the Memento Black Ink.

Cutest SAB Set Hippest Hippo Floral

Hello stampers,

     So what do you think about the SAB Hippest Hippo Stamp Set & matching dies? I think they are the cutest & all the accessories that come with the die set are awesome.      For this card, I started with a Flirty Flamingo Cardstock base, followed by a layer of the Wonderful World DSP that comes in a bundle that is also in the SAB catalog. I used the Decorative Circle Punch to punch out a circle and then embossed it with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. For the hippo, I used the Hippest Hippo Stamp Set stamping it with Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock then die cut it out using the Hippo Dies. I colored the hippo with the Gray Granite, Flirty Flamingo & Old Olive Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. For embossed items, I like to use the Mini Glue Dots to adhere it to whatever I'm making.

SNEAK PEEK Wonderful World Fun Fold

Hello stampers,

     Had another post ready to go for today then realized last night that today was Friday which meant I needed to do a fun fold card. So I went searching for a fun fold & found one on Janet Wakeland's blog. I did switch something on my card though & I'll tell you about it below.

     For this card, I actually started with the inside piece, which is where my card differs from Janet's. I used a Basic White Cardstock layer, then added 1" Wonderful World DSP on both sides, my next step was to cut the Mossy Meadow Cardstock opening piece down to 3"x10.5" and then scored it at 5.25". This allows me to rest my inside layer onto the back of the 3" wide piece before adhering it to a Mossy Meadow Cardstock card front base of 4.25"x5.5". The stamp set I used is a bundle with the DSP in the upcoming SAB catalog called Wonderful World. To color the flower I actually used Melon Mambo & Mossy Meadow Stampin' Write Markers direct to stamp then huffed on the stamp before stamping on the Basic White Cardstock that was cut out using Layering Circle Dies. This was then adhered to a Melon Mambo Cardstock scalloped circle cut out using the same dies. For the sentiment, I used the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set with Melon Mambo Ink on Basic White Cardstock, then punched both ends with the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch

     Here is the inside of the card, you can't really tell but it is tucked between the 2 layers, this then leaves you a bit of space to write something down the middle.
