Flower Patch

Hello stampers,
Sorry for being MIA, my mom came out for a visit & we were non-stop running around seeing things that we haven't seen since we moved to NY, along with getting to go to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. And then I had to catch up on some swaps that were due, so not much time was spent doing cards for the blog & I'm still trying to catch up in doing that.
Have you seen the new Holiday catalog? Oh my, I'm going to be in so much trouble, I think this is probably the first time I want the majority of stamps in I don't know how long. I did put in a small order to do a swap, but of course that set was back-ordered so I had to resort to solution #2. I hope to work a bit with my stamps & present maybe a "Christmas in August" week. I know it's supposed to be July, but what can I say I'm a procrastinator!
The card I'll be showing today is the new Flower Patch set in the main catalog. Oh I so liked this set when I first saw it, however, I didn't read that it was a poly set. Not to worry I just hadn't stamped with poly before so I was a little intimidated by it. No different than the other stamps, except with certain colors it has a tendency to stain but that doesn't hurt the stamp at all. Think of it as getting ink on your wood blocks.
So here is a sneak peek of a card I did for a floral swap recently. SHHH, don't tell anyone I showed it to you early, I'll share the cards I get back as soon as I get them.

~Enjoy
