Lovely As A Tree

Hello stampers,
I hope y'all had a great World Card Making weekend! I didn't get a chance to stamp I was out & about all weekend. So hopefully I'll get some stamping time in this week to make up for all of that.
Today's card, features the set Lovely As A Tree. I haven't used this set in forever, but when I have I love using it as an all-season stamp. This card uses the Thumping technique, which I'm not sure I've ever done, but I really like the result. How do you do this? Easy peasy! I'll describe what I did here, so you can incorporate it how you see fit.
To start I used the lightest color first, this would be Hello Honey, I used the pad for a quicker result. Next I came in with Early Espresso & colored the trunk & grass with a marker. I then used Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler & Early Espresso markers (in that order) holding the marker closer to  the opposite end & lightly thumping it over the leaves. The end result looks like the leaves are turning color, just like they are starting to do in real life here where I live.

~Enjoy
