SFF 022015

Hello stampers,
Happy Frenzy Friday y'all! I hope your week has gone well, I don't feel like I've accomplished much but I know I have done a lot of paperwork which is always lots of fun, NOT. We were supposedly supposed to be above freezing for the weekend, but still expecting some type of snow, but now I don't think so, UGH! I told a friend recently who asked the question on FB to her friends, "What are you giving up for lent?" my reply "SNOW!!!" then I happened to see a meme today saying the same thing.
Today I have a bright, colorful birthday card for you. I started out using Whisper White Card Stock for the base of the card. From the Mosaic Madness Stamp Set I took one of the mosaic pieces & stamped it in Bermuday Bay, Melon Mambo & Wild Wasabi Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock, then punched each of them out using the Mosaic Punch. Next I stamped one of the borders from the same set using Daffodil Delight Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock & adhered that piece to a Daffodil Delight Card Stock piece. Before assembling the card, I stamped the birthday saying from the Remembering Your Birthday Stamp Set in Pumpkin Pie Ink to to the top of the card base. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the mosaic pieces, added the border piece, then added the Pumpkin Pie 1/4" Taffeta Ribbon to the top of the border. As the final bling, I added Jewel Rhinestones to the middle of each mosaic piece.
This week's sketch was created by Patrice Herrera. Hop on over to the SFF blog & check out what the other team members did. Better yet, make your own card based on the sketch below & add your link to this week's challenge. Happy sketching & enjoy your weekend!
