Happy Frenzy Friday! I've been in an on & off rut lately coming up with card ideas, but I did get to stamp with friends yesterday & I'll get to do it again on Sunday, so I'll have a few cards to show & maybe it will give me the jolt I need. I have swaps I want to join but got to have ideas first!
For this card I decided to use the Something For Baby Stamp Set. I stamped the tie in both Marina Mist & Soft Suede Ink, then fussy cut them because I didn't want the white space left around the ties that the framelits left. I then stamped the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set onto Marina Mist Card Stock with Early Espresso Ink. To put the card together, I used Whisper White Card Stock for the base, then layered it with Early Espresso DSP. Next, I added Early Espresso Twine, then added the ties. I added the extra piece of Marina Mist Card Stock that I had punched an end with the Banner Punch just above the twine then added the sentiment piece on the right. Instead of adding ribbon to a masculine card I opted to use the Neutrals Candy Dots in Early Espresso.
This week's sketch was created by Elizabeth Kratzer. Hop on over to the SFF blog & check out what the other team members did. Better yet, make your own card based on the sketch below & add your link to this week's challenge. Happy sketching & enjoy your weekend!
