Hello stampers,
Why is it that Mondays always seem to come quicker than Fridays? I had a busy weekend volunteering for a local rescue group, so once again didn't get any stamping done like I had hoped to. But I also forgot to set up today's post & while I'm at it I'm going to set up tomorrows so I'm ahead of the game. Today's & tomorrow's post are going to be featuring the last swap I did for VC 2015 which was the Christmas swap. I hope these ideas inspire you to start yours now before you end up like me well into December still making them.
For my card, I started with a Cherry Cobbler Card Stock base followed by a layer of Merry Moment DSP. For the main stamped image, I used the ornament stamp from the Lots of Joy Stamp Set, stamping it in Crumb Cake, Old Olive & Cherry Cobbler Ink. I drew a line for them to hang from with the matching Marvelous Marker & then placed an opposite Brights, Neutrals or Regals Candy Dot in the center of each ornament, then backed it with Crumb Cake Card Stock. For the sentiment, I used the Sassy Salutations Stamp Set, stamping the sentiment in Old Olive Ink & backing it also with Crumb Cake Card Stock.
Stay tuned for the rest of the ladies cards tomorrow. Enjoy!
