Hello stampers,
Happy 2nd day of November! Hopefully your Halloween weekend was a good one! I got to have a "date night" with hubby which was really needed with him being so busy with work & school. We went to see The Intern, which I thought was a pretty good movie.
Today's card is the last of the first card class of Kerri's last month.I really like this card, it would be wonderful for a fall birthday. We started out with Rich Razzleberry Card Stock as the base of the card followed by a layer of retired Brushed Gold Card Stock. For the stamped image, we used the retired Naturals White Card Stock (I don't know how Kerri uses this I'm afraid to use all mine up!) we stamped one of the leaves from the Lighthearted Leaf Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink. Next, we used a mask that Kerri had pre-cut for us using the Leaflets Framelits, which we placed over the stamped image than used our Sponge Daubers to carefully sponge Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze & Rich Razzleberry Ink. Then we stamped the sentiment from Endless Birthday Wishes Stamp Set using Rich Razzleberry Ink. We followed this with framing the image using a ruler & the retired Gold Marker. (*TIP* I saw this on Pinterest from another stamper instead of trying to get your lines straight or just right with a ruler use one of your square or rectangle framelits for an instant frame!!!) Lastly we added a retired Rich Razzleberry ribbon to finish off the card.
