Hello stampers,
Happy Halloween everyone! I don't really do Halloween, although I do own a few sets just because I couldn't resist something in the set itself, I didn't get around to stamping anything today. Instead, I have a card we did in class!
When I was a kid I was a Jobie (aka Job's Daughter) who rose to be HQ, so my colors were gray, burgundy & pink. So you might gather that I like this card pretty well since it has 2 out of 3 of those colors, but I also like the set. We started with a Smoky Slate Card Stock base followed by a layer of Powder Pink Card Stock. On the stamped piece we used Whisper White Card Stock, we used the Daisy Delight Stamp Set stamping the leaves in Old Olive Ink, next we stamped the flowers with Powder Pink Ink as the background & Flirty Flamingo Ink as the lined stamp. We then took a piece of Wood Textures DSP to make a ledge for the flowers. Lastly, we stamped the big daisy in Powder Pink Ink twice onto Whisper White Card Stock, punched them out with the Daisy Punch, glued them together added the center of the daisy using Flirty Flamingo Ink then adhering it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
