Sorry, I've not been in a stamping mood lately, last time I stamped was 2 Sundays ago at Kerri's monthly class. Instead, I got my genealogy bug back & have been working on that for the last week. Have to figure out so I have time for both!! So when I went to bed last night I had a thought for a card stirring in my brain that I thought I would try to attempt today if I could find the stamp that I wanted to use. Only to start my process & realize that today's BSU challenge is totally different than I thought it was. Don't you HATE that when it happens? That's ok, I was able to change it up rather easily & I still may do the other card I was thinking of for last week's challenge that I missed.
For today's BSU challenge it is all about the colors- Pink Pirouette, Real Red, Basic Black & Whisper White. I started with a Whisper White Card Stock layer, stamping it with hearts from the Sure Do Love You Stamp Set in Real Red & Pink Pirouette Ink. Next, I took this layer over to the Big Shot & used the Large Letters Framelits to spell out the word "LOVE" to do the Eclipse Technique. I layered this piece onto Basic Black Card Stock before adhering the letters to it using Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card I adhered this all to a Real Red Card Stock base. Voila!
Don't forget to head on over to Carol's blog HERE and then to Stace's blog HERE. To see what both did for this week's challenge. I'm sure both will be fantastic. Hope you try this challenge out too! We have a new Facebook group if you want to join us and show us what you came up with HERE.
~Thanks for stopping by!
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
