BSU022818

Hello stampers,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, real life has been keeping me busy with things that need to be done but I really don't want to do them like continuing education to keep my pharmacy certification, even though I don't know if I'll ever go back to it. I can't believe today is the end of February, we've had pretty good spring-like weather these last few days so I've been able to open the windows & let some fresh air in before the cold comes back by the end of the week.
Today's BSU challenge is all about the sketch which was done up by yours truly. So this week I decided to use a not so new stamp set called Lift Me Up. I started with a Whisper White Card Stock stamping piece where I stamped the hot air balloons from the set using Memento Black Ink & coloring them in using both Light/Dark Daffodil Delight & Light Bermuda Bay Blends. Next, I stamped 2 of the clouds across the scene using Soft Sky Ink. I then attached it to Basic Black Card Stock before adhering it to the Bermuda Bay Card Stock base. Finally, I took a scrap piece of Daffodil Delight Card Stock, punched it on both ends with the Triple Banner Punch before I added a sentiment from the set using Memento Black Ink.
Here's the sketch in case you wanted to try this challenge on your own. I guess next time I should color the base so that it can be seen as intended on my page.
Don't forget to head on over to Carol's blog HERE and then to Stace's blog HERE. To see what both did for this week's challenge. I'm sure both will be fantastic. Hope you try this challenge out too! We have a new Facebook group if you want to join us and show us what you came up with HERE.
