Have you had one of those days where nothing is going right? Well, yesterday was that day for me! I can't believe the things I tried for the challenge only to figure out once the card was done that I used a wrong color, so back to the drawing board to use the card that I had finished for another day.
This week's BSU challenge is all about the color combo of So Saffron, Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizazz & Whisper White. The 1st 2 colors aren't colors I reach for much these days especially the So Saffron, I'd much rather use Daffodil Delight but I managed. For the base, I used Pear Pizazz Card Stock, followed by a layer of Wisteria Wonder Card Stock. For the stamped piece, I used Whisper White Card Stock to stamp the tulips from the Tranquil Tulips Stamp Set on using So Saffron Ink for the tulips & Pear Pizazz Ink for the stems. For the sentiment, I used the set Layered Love with Wisteria Wonder Ink before assembling the card. I've been working on a few Spring type cards lately, hoping that Mother Nature will let go of Winter.
