BSU041118

Hello stampers,
Today's BSU challenge is all about the colors of Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Island Indigo & Bermuda Bay. Weird combo, right? I thought so & didn't think I'd come up with anything. Enter the retired list, yep going to be seeing some retiring sets for a bit, gotta get some use out of them especially the ones that haven't seen ink yet.
So as I said today is all about the colors, some of which I don't use very often but I did end up with a card that I like so that's good. I started the card off with an Island Indigo (retiring) Card Stock base, followed by a layer of Whisper White Card Stock. I used the retiring Paisleys & Posies Stamp Set to stamp different stamps with Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Island Indigo & Bermuda Bay Ink onto the paper. Next, I took a scrap piece of Whisper White Card Stock ran it through the Big Shot using the Layering Ovals Framelits for the sentiment, which was layered with Island Indigo Card Stock using the same framelits but using the scalloped oval.
Don't forget to head on over to Carol's blog HERE and then to Stace's blog HERE. To see what both did for this week's challenge. I'm sure both will be fantastic. Hope you try this challenge out too! We have a new Facebook group if you want to join us and show us what you came up with HERE.
