Hello stampers,
Today's card catches me up on this month's BSU challenges. The challenge was a color combo using Rich Razzleberry, Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight & Crumb Cake. YOWSERS!
For this card, I used Blackberry Bliss Card Stock for both the base & the layer. On the background piece, I used Whisper White Card Stock that I had stamped with both leaves from the Rooted In Nature Stamp Set using Blackberry Bliss, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive & Crumb Cake Ink. For the smaller piece, I again used Whisper White Card Stock where I stamped the tree from the set using Old Olive & Crumb Cake Ink, from there I masked in a little hill using Old Olive Ink & Sponge Dauber. I then used the sun/moon from Lilypad Lake Stamp Set with Daffodil Delight Ink then used a Sponge Dauber to add color to the middle & tried to make some rays to go with it. For the flowers on the hill, I used a stamp from the Varied Vases Stamp Set with both Rich Razzleberry & Blackberry Bliss Marvelous Markers.
Don't forget to head on over to Carol's blog HERE and then to Stace's blog HERE. To see what both did for this week's challenge. I'm sure both will be fantastic. Hope you try this challenge out too! We have a new Facebook group if you want to join us and show us what you came up with HERE.
