Today's card inspiration came from CAS(E) this Sketch#283. I had started a dandelion square for another card, then decided to switch colors, so thought I would make this one into something else. No use in trashing something you can reuse at some point, right?
I started this card off with a Smoky Slate Card Stock base, followed by a layer of Powder Pink Card Stock that I ran through the Big Shot with the Subtles TIEF to give it some texture. Next, I took a strip of Berry Burst Card Stock & stamped it with the little flowers (not exactly sure what to call them) from the Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set using Berry Burst Ink. Lastly, I took a square piece of Whisper White Card Stock & stamped the bigger dandelion stamp using Smoky Slate Ink, before assembling the card.
Have you ever wondered what the Subtle TIEF actually looks like up close, since the catalog doesn't really do it justice? It gives a subtle texture to me almost like a jeans type of texture.
