Hey everybody,
     I hope y'all had a great holiday season & New Year! I finally got around to sitting at my desk &  put ink to paper for this week's BSU Challenge & hopefully pound out a few more but we'll see. This week was all about the color combo of Crumb Cake, Flirty Flamingo & Lovely Lipstick. Now, I have to tell you I had a really hard time with the Lovely Lipstick it just seemed to overpower what I was trying to do. So I went back to step one of choosing a different set & finally something worked. However, the downside was that I used a retired set, we try to use current sets & everything else can be either. I guess I have to go back through all my current sets & make sure I don't have any other retired sets that I may have missed.
     I started my card with a Crumb Cake Cardstock, followed by a layer of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock that I ran through the Big Shot using the new Lace TIEF in the Occasions Catalog. Next, I stamped the heart from the retired Bloomin' Love Stamp Set onto Whisper White Cardstock using Flirty Flamingo Ink, then stamped a sentiment from the same set using Lovely Lipstick Ink, which was then layered on top of a Lovely Lipstick Cardstock layer. I used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the stamped piece onto the embossed layer.

Card Measurements

Crumb Cake base- 5.5"x8.5"

Flirty Flamingo layer- 4"x5.25"

Lovely Lipstick layer- 3"x3"

Whisper White layer- 2.75"x2.75"
