BSU020619

Hello stampers,
For this week's BSU challenge we chose Love/Valentine's Day as the theme. I was able to sit down & whip up a card on time for a change. Sorry, I haven't been stamping much, trying to even get the energy up to purge & pack up my craft room is a task lately. But I need to get a move on since we are looking at the end of April to start trecking across the country for a new job & there is plenty of packing still to do on the house, let alone the stuff that needs to be done to the house like painting (never finished once we moved in) & carpets etc. Anyone care to take my place?
For this card, I started with a Whisper White Cardstock layer, I took 2 dies from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits & die cut them out using the Big Shot. I reattached the row of hearts outline back into its space with Tombow Multi Glue, which I could have probably made easier with the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets but I never remember to use them until it's too late. I then adhered this to the Real Red Cardstock base, before stamping the sentiment from the Meant To Be Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink. I probably should have stopped there but decided to add a few stamped hearts from the set using Real Red Ink.
Card Measurements
  • Real Red base- 5-1/2"x 8-1/2"
  • Whisper White layer- 4"x 5 1/4"
  •      Don't forget to head on over to Carol's blog HERE and then to Stace's blog HERE. To see what both did for this week's challenge. I'm sure both will be fantastic. Hope you try this challenge out too! We have a new Facebook group if you want to join us and show us what you came up with HERE.
