Hello stampers,
This week's BSU challenge is a #simplestamping challenge from Stampin' Up! which was to make a birthday card. I went the masculine route since I'll need it for an end of the month birthday. I find it hard to do masculine cards, probably because I don't have a lot of current masculine type sets & what I have in retired is being packed away. I did decide to get a masculine set from the Occasions Catalog though & that is what I used.
I started off with a Real Red Cardstock base followed by a half layer of Classic Garage DSP. Next, I used the Geared Up Garage Stamp Set & stamped the car along with the sentiment in Memento Black Ink. I then colored in the car using Light/Dark Real Red & Light Black Blends Markers, after I was done coloring I layered it with a Basic Black Cardstock layer before attaching it to my car. Very simple & quick card!
Don't forget to head on over to Carol's blog HERE and then to Stace's blog HERE. To see what both did for this week's challenge. I'm sure both will be fantastic. Hope you try this challenge out too! We have a new Facebook group if you want to join us and show us what you came up with HERE.
