Broadway Birthday

Hello stampers,
Today I wanted to share a card I made for a friends birthday last month. We are starting to make some real progress with painting & packing, but there seems to be so much left to do. Also causing some anxiety is we are still waiting to find out when we need to report, we thought we'd hear by last week but we are still waiting.
I decided to go with a Melon Mambo, Whisper White & Basic Black color for this card. I started with a Melon Mambo Cardstock card base, followed by layers of Basic Black Cardstock & the retired Pop Of Pink DSP.  For the sign, I used the Broadway Lights Framelits & the Big Shot to die cut it 2 times with Melon Mambo & Whisper White Cardstock. I fussy cut a piece of Basic Black Cardstock to back the sign. I stamped the white part of the sign using the Broadway Birthday Stamp Set with Basic Black & Melon Mambo Ink before putting the sign altogether. I then stamped the hat from the set in Basic Black & Melon Mambo before die cutting them out & adding them to the corner of the sign. I assembled the card, but before I added the sign I used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up.
