Happy Graduation!

Hello stampers,
Today's been a difficult day for me as I lost my dad 10 months ago, so this was another first without him & it seemed a bit strange. I really haven't stamped a lot since his passing & when I have it's been a lot of CASEing none of my original ideas. While I wasn't able to make a card for my FIL I have managed to get 2 cards done.
Today's card was for a graduation of a kid I've known for 10 years. This was a simple card to make I used her school colors which I figured were Basic Black & Real Red. I used the retired Large Letter Alphabet Dies to cut out the letters from her school out of Real Red Cardstock, placing the cut out piece over Basic Black Cardstock. Once I assembled the card I propped up each letter using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. I had to figure out how to make either a diploma (which failed) or grad hat since all my retired stamps are still boxed up. I ended finding a great video online, however, I didn't save it before writing up this post. It's been a long time since I have done punch art & the punch I used is the Tailored Tag Punch. I really hope she likes the card!
