Friendly Donkey

Hello stampers,

     I really had no intentions of getting the Darling Donkey set but I had so much SAB paper I ended up getting it. One of my stamping friends told me I just had to use it, so I did & sent the card to her. I'm really hoping that she'll have received it before this post actually goes live.

     For this card, I found an old sketch from Case This Sketch #399 on the web & decided to use it for today's card. I started the card with a Very Vanilla Cardstock base, followed by a layer of retired Wood Naturals DSP. For the bigger square, I used the retired Plaid Tidings DSP. I then took a strip of Melon Mambo Cardstock where I used the Birch Stamp with Melon Mambo Ink. For the stamped piece, I used the Darling Donkeys Stamp Set using Early Espresso Ink, then colored him in using Lt. & Dk. Crumb Cake Blends, the sentiment is from the same set stamped with Melon Mambo Ink. I then used the Big Shot to make what looks like a lasso around the edge using the Stitched With Whimsy Dies before assembling the card.
