Springtime Joy

Hello stampers,

     Today's card was made following a sketch I found at Border Buddy Sunday Sketches, for this sketch & many more you can go HERE. So I'm trying to use my current sets before they retire which includes ones from the Jan.-Jun. catalog.

     I started the card with a Daffodil Delight Cardstock base, which to me is just a cheery spring color. For the long Whisper White Cardstock strip I made my own background by using the small stamps in the Springtime Joy Stamp Set with Memento Black Ink, which I colored in using Lt. Daffodil Delight, Dk. Petal Pink, Lt. Balmy Blue & Lt. Purple Posy Blends. Next, I used the 2x3 piece of Whisper White Cardstock to stamp the lamb from the same set with Memento Black Ink. I colored this piece with Lt. Pool Party, Lt. Granny Apple Green, Lt. Petal Pink, Lt. Balmy Blue, Lt. Daffodil Delight & Lt. Old Olive. For the banner, I again used Daffodil Delight Cardstock trimmed the end using the retired Banner Punch & stamped one of the sentiments in the set with Memento Black Ink

     Well, I gotta get back to unpacking some boxes & hopefully make some sense of the mess that I call my stamp room. Someday I may get everything in it's place! Have a great weekend everyone!
