Nothing's Better Than a Slimline Card

Hello stampers,

     I finally did it...I made a slimline card! I've wanted to do one for a long time & the other night I figured it would be a good time to try. Well, my 1st attempt didn't go so well I wasn't coming up with the right measurements that I was wanting. So I restarted my thinking the next morning & finally got everything to fit exactly how I wanted.

     For this card, I started with a Basic White Cardstock (7"x8.5") base, followed by a layer of Early Espresso Cardstock (3.25"x8.25"). I then took a strip of Basic White Cardstock (3"x8", cut down to 2"), with each piece I stamped from the Nothing's Better Than Stamp Set using Early Espresso Ink for the outline & then Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana & Early Espresso Ink (stamped off once)  for the solid images. I used the Big Shot & the Love You More Than Dies to die cut the words that corresponded to the picture using Daffodil Delight & Cool Cabana Cardstock before assembling the card.
