Sneak Peek- Blessings Of Home

Hello stampers,
     It's been a tough week, which really started last week when the hard drive of my laptop decided it no longer wanted to work, at least it is under warranty although I'll lose whatever wasn't backed up on my USB drive. Then I started off this week with a sick kitty who didn't want to eat a lot then not to eat at all which was very unlike her. Took her to the vet yesterday & got bad news she was in total kidney failure the vet said he was surprised she was still alive with her lab results being as high as they were. So for the 1st time I had to put one of our babies down by myself, which was really hard. We had her since she was 4 weeks old & she was 14.5 years old when she passed. Hopefully, you've had a better week! 

     Today's card is using a brand new set that will be in the new mini catalog that will go live in January, WOOHOO! The set is called Blessings From Home, I stamped the big floral stamp using Memento Black Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock. I decided to use Lt/Dk Fresh Freesia, Lt/Dk Pale Papaya, Lt Mango Melody (retired) & Lt/Dk Old Olive Stampin' Blends to color this set. I don't know what it was but I really like how the freesia flowers turned out, it's like the main flower has highlights & lowlights without me using the color lifter. Anyway, the stamped image was backed with a layer of Pale Papaya Cardstock before attaching it to the Old Olive Cardstock base where I stamped a sentiment from the set using Old Olive Ink.
