I hope you've had a better week than I have, all I can say is, home ownership is so much fun? *rolling eyes*. I hoping with 1 more thing we will be finished with this problem for a while. Anyway, I have been rewatching some videos from OnStage that I missed & I decided to make a card off of Chloe Evans, an Australian demo who used a technique I'm going to call embossing with white pencil because I couldn't figure out a better name for it. I am using 2 different sets, one that is available now & one that will be coming soon.
For the 1st card, I'm using the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set. For the base of the card, I used Basic White Cardstock followed by a small layer of the Harvest Meadow DSP & added a slim layer of Calypso Coral Cardstock for the top border before adhering to the base. I used one of the stamps with VersaMark Ink, then embossed it using White Embossing Powder on Misty Moonlight paper that had been die cut twice using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, on the top rectangle I cut off the scallops. Next, I used the white pencil from Watercolor Pencils Assortment 1 to color in the dress, which after a bit of time took on a bluish color. This was then adhered to the scallop die cut & attached to the card. I used one of the sentiments from the In The Moment Stamp Set (coming soon)& embossed it with White Embossing Powder on Calypso Coral Cardstock then attached it to the card with Mini Dimensionals. To add some bling to the card, I used the Dark Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends & colored some Basic Rhinestones to finish off this card.
These cards are easy for those who really don't like to color, like me although I'm getting better to add some coloring besides the paper. Try it & have fun!

All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
For this card, everything is the same except I used the In The Moment Stamp Set with Real Red Cardstock, Basic Black Cardstock, Regals DSP & Matte Black Dots.
