I can't believe that the new mini catalog will be out in just 2 weeks, so I'll be sharing some of the new stuff until then, get your wish lists ready! Today I'm sharing a card that was demonstrated at OnStage last month. I'm going to call the technique Reverse Masking since I have no idea what or if it actually has a name.
My card was started with a Magenta Madness Cardstock base, followed by a layer of Hand-Penned DSP. I then moved on to the stamped image where I die cut 2 circles using the Layering Circle Dies with Basic White Cardstock & stamping 2 of the same images from the In The Moment Stamp Set (available 1/4)- the first is where I used the Blending Brushes with Balmy Blue, Blushing Bride & Daffodil Delight Inks to color the background, then colored the table using Dark Crumb Cake Blends & the 2nd I colored in the lady using Light/Dark Magenta Madness, Light Daffodil Delight & Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends, then fussy cut the woman out & attaching her to the 1st circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. For the sentiment, I used the same set & stamped the words using Magenta Madness Ink & punched it out using the Rectangle Postage Punch.
