I hope everyone had a great weekend. On Saturday, my friend Carol & I attended Creativate Winter Retreat, but I don't think we really got any stamping done as we were mainly listening & trying to do other things. I so enjoy a day dedicated to stamping & learning new things even if I didn't participate in the day. Jackie, Brandy, Connie & Sharon do such a wonderful job. I did, however, manage to finish this card that I started last week.
This card uses the Calming Camellia Stamp Set which is a SAB hostess set. I started with a Basic Black Cardstock base, followed by a layer of Merry Merlot Cardstock that I had dry embossed with the Bark 3D Embossing Folder then cut into 2 pieces. For the stamped piece, I used Merry Merlot Ink to stamp the big floral in the set on Basic White Cardstock, then stamped the sentiment using Memento Black Ink. This was then layered on top of Basic Black Cardstock before being attached to the rest of the card.
