I hope everybody had a great weekend! Today's card uses supplies from the SAB catalog that ends on February 28, so you have a week to get any last minute supplies you may want.
I actually started with the middle layer first on this card which started with Basic White Cardstock, then I had to decide how I wanted my card to go by using Sunshine & Rainbows DSP. I selected a piece that uses Pool Party, so went with an almost monochromatic theme. I decided to use two 1/2" strips of the DSP, just to give a different look, I then stamped the sentiment using Smoky Slate Ink & made an oopsie *but in cardmaking, there are never mistakes just opportunities to embellish. LOL* thus the position of the Brushed Brass Butterflies. For the stamped piece, I used the Catching Butterflies Stamp Set using Smoky Slate Ink to stamp the girl & butterfly. I colored with Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Pale Papaya & the Light (new product) Stampin' Blends, which was then backed by Pool Party Cardstock then all was adhered to a Pool Party Cardstock base.
