Today's Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop is all about the new In Colors! I had 2 favorites right off the bat Tahitian Tide & Parakeet Party, but Sweet Sorbet is working it's way in there now as well.
I decided to use a set that will be retiring at the end of June for today's card. I started with a Basic White Cardstock piece & the flower with leaves from the Flowing Flowers Stamp Set, but instead of adding color from the stamp pad I used Sponge Daubers to add Sweet Sorbet Ink to the flower; Parakeet Party to the leaves & Daffodil Delight to the dots, it produced a softer look to the image. I then stamped a sentiment from the same set using Sweet Sorbet Ink before adding it to a layer of Parakeet Party Cardstock. For the back layer, I used Basic White Cardstock then used the big solo flower in the set & stamped it around the edges with Sweet Sorbet Ink, this was then attached to the Parakeet Party Cardstock base before attaching the main stamped image to finish off the card.
