I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, we are in a stretch of 90+ weather which I'm not a fan of but I guess it's a lot better than the 100+ we'll have in the summer. Tomorrow I get the joy of seeing the dentist which I'm super anxious about, thank goodness for Nitrous I hope it keeps me calm like all the other times! I just received my order of some new stuff & thought I'd share.
I was looking for a certain color combo & instead Polished Pink spoke to me asking to be used. I started the card with a Basic White Cardstock piece where I stamped the flower & stem from the True Beauty Stamp Set using Polished Pink & Evening Evergreen Ink. This was then backed by an Evening Evergreen Cardstock piece then I added the Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon. It's a little funny, I love buying ribbon to use in some of my favorite colors but hardly use it. I lucked out that the paper that goes with this set Awash With Beauty DSP also uses Polished Pink in the coordinating colors a layer was attached to an Evening Evergreen Cardstock base, followed by adding the stamped piece to the DSP.
